Remarkably, Andy Murray is the only one of the four semi-finalists to have dropped a set so far at Roland Garros.
Rafa Nadal might have been grabbing all the plaudits, Dominic Thiem taking plenty too, which means Stan Wawrinka has gone somewhat under the radar.
Well, as much as a third seed and former champion can.
A backhand into the net from Murray puts Wawrinka 15-0 ahead, but the Swiss coughs up three unforced forehand errors to lose any momentum he hoped to build.
Murray whacks a forehand winner inside the baseline to hold.

He had 12 wins coming in and then a few hiccups in the early round but was playing a high level.
What we saw that day was Murray's best clay court performance.
He made two thirds of his first serves and then smashed his forehand on the third shot of the rally.

Murray would expect to have the majority of the crowd against him today with Wawrinka being a French speaker and being from Switzerland.

The Swiss started the clay-court season with a whimper, winning only two of his opening five matches as he suffered eary exits in Monte Carlo, Madrid and Rome.
But he has bounced back - and bounced back in style. He won on home soil in Geneva, and now boasts a nine-match winning streak after breezing through the Roland Garros draw.
"I never give up. I work hard. I try to do what's right. I listen to my team members. And sometimes I lose," says the 32-year-old.
"Your confidence goes down, and then you have to work hard again to rebuild your confidence.
"I'm here now. I'm playing really well and very happy with how things have gone so far. I'm very calm and extremely confident about my game."

Stan picks up his bulky bag from the corridor floor, walking out first to a warm welcome.
Murray trots out a few seconds later to an equally friendly reception.
Still plenty of empty seats in Chatrier as Stan does some lunges and Muzza rips open the wrapping on his new racquet.

White clouds skitter across a blue sky above Philippe Chatrier Court, and we look set for a dry, blustery day but cooler than yesterday, and a forecast pushing 30C at the weekend.
It should make for pleasant viewing for those lucky enough to have tickets, while none of the players will be too affected by conditions.
Unusually, we look to have four semi-finalists relatively free of injury concerns. "Physically, I feel great," Andy Murray said on Wednesday, possibly for the first time this year.

"I came in playing garbage," joked Murray, who has struggled with fitness and form this year.
"If someone had offered me a semi-final spot before the tournament, I would have signed up for that because I was not playing well at all.
"And practice also was not good. It's been really good so far. I want to keep going."

Dominic Thiem was the last of the semi-finalists to have a morning hit on Chatrier, the 23-year-old who brings the average age of the four remaining men down to 29 years and 105 days. That's the second-highest since professional tennis began in 1968, when it was a hefty 33 years old. It's still a young man's game, but only just.
