    Vandeweghe 1-0 Konta*

Coco Vandeweghe gets going with an ace down the T, before wrong-footing Konta and smashing a forehand beyond her.

A double fault from the American is the only real error as she tidies up the first game with a neat cross-court shot.

    Vandeweghe v Konta

Here we go - Coco Vandeweghe will serve first. Both players are wearing the same outfit - bright pink with purple stripes down the side. They both have the same kit supplier, which means they have one outfit per season, apparently.

Coco Vandeweghe has had a mixed year so far.

She began 2017 with her best major result yet, beating world number one Angelique Kerber and Garbine Mugurza as she reached the Australian Open semi-final.

However, after Melbourne she didn't register back-to-back WTA tour wins again until the Madrid Open, and she was knocked out of the French Open in the first round.

She's now teamed up with Pat Cash to improve her form and she started here in Birmingham with a 6-4 6-2 win over fellow American Christina McHale.

Konta reached the second round in Birmingham with a battling 6-3 7-6 (8-6) win over Ukraine's Lesia Tsurenko.

Pushing for her first WTA title on grass, Konta won the first set before Tsurenko fought back in the second.

The world number 34 had the chance to serve for the second set at 5-3 but Konta broke back and went on to win the tie-break by converting her third match point.

There was also a worry as Konta required a medical timeout midway through the second set, but said after the match that she was fine.
