These are such tough matches to lose but this is something Heather Watson needs to learn from, that when it gets to the important moment she gets tight.

Azarenka showed today why she is a former world number one - when it counts she takes it up to another level.

It is incredible that she is back so soon after having a baby but she looks so good. Mark of a champion.

I thought Heather was outstanding in the first set.

It's always going to be difficult going up against a player who is a Grand Slam winner and was ranked number one in the world at one point.

She may not have that number by her name at the moment but she still thinks like a champion.

It is all over. Heather Watson battled with every ounce possible, but Victoria Azarenka, in only her second tournament back after giving birth to a son, is into the last 16.

What a fantastic match. Watson, for the first time, took a set off the former world number one, but Azarenka, a two-time semi-finalist here, is the one who advances. Heartbreak for Heather.

A double fault from Azarenka at the start of the 10th game, who soon makes it 15-15, but the Belarusian misjudges one. She leaves the ball alone, and it bounces behind her on the line.

Watson then sends a fine effort down the line for two break points of her own.

Facing two break points, Heather Watson was given a time violation. Safe to say that went down like your ex turning up uninvited at a family function.

The Brit couldn't even bring herself to look at the umpire. Instead she glared at her box and shook her head.

She kept her cool, but couldn't do anything to stop a ripper of an Azarenka winner.
