It's all over. Judy Murray looks on despondently from the roof of the Broadcast Centre that overlooks court 18 as Sam Groth and Robert Lindstedt complete a thrilling 4-6 6-3 4-6 7-5 7-5 victory over Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares.

It took a while to get going and we thought Fognini's injury in the third set would ruin this as a contest, but it is gripping stuff now.

Both players have looked in pain at certain moments, before finding a second wind.

It is 30-30 on the Murray serve and a wonderful return from the Italian has Murray sprawling and he cannot keep his next shot in play.

That brings up a break point, and a set point for Fognini, but Murray forces it back to deuce.

It's got totally bizarre out there. It's hard to make it up.

It is like it was a strategy by Fognini to go away in the third set, he looked like he could hardly move, then all of a sudden he goes out there and seems to be toying with Murray's head.

Fognini holds his service game to love and looks at his friends, family and coaches along with a fist pump as he inches closer to the fourth set. He is one game away from it.

Now Murray is the one who is rattled, speaking to the umpire, unhappy at the amount of time Fognini is taking between points. Nevertheless, Fognini has the break he wanted. We could be going all the way here.

On the second serve, Fognini's return is long as he misses the break-point opportunity. He will get another chance though as a two-handed lob shot from the baseline is misjudged and finds net, not grass from Murray. Another break point for the Italian.

Fognini has thrown his racquet on the ground and this time throws it up in the air. Whether it is a way of psyching himself up it is working as he moves to a break point on the Murray serve.
