Roger Federer has a real game on his hands today though. Grigor Dimitrov has looked in super sharp touch and I fancy him to put the Swiss in a spin later on.

    That's last on Centre Court.

Manic Monday gives those people who don't have show court tickets the chance to see some of the big names out practicing on the outside courts.

The gates have only been open 20 minutes, but there's already a huge crowd gathered around Court 14.

"Oh my god it's Nadal" shouts one man, who attempted to climb up the wall to have a nosy before security shifted him.

I'd like to give you some updates on how his practice session is going, but I genuinely can't see a thing from the crowds.

    Kerber v Muguruza

A handful of souls have taken up their seats inside Court Two already, nearly a full hour before play. Get your money's worth!

World number one Angelique Kerber, who nobody seems to think is capable of winning Wimbledon, is first on against former French Open champ Garbine Muguruza.

They have played seven times to date, with Kerber winning the first three encounters and Muguruza the most recent four - including their sole grass meeting, 7-6(12), 1-6, 6-2 in the third round of Wimbledon in 2015.

Plenty of big-names are up and about early on the Aarongi practice courts.

As Konta starts her session with some crunching forehands, five-time Grand Slam champion Martina Hingis - now carving out a career as a successful doubles player - is warming up next door.

Maybe Jo might collar her for some advice afterwards. Offer her a cupcake as a sweetener Jo.

Just around the corner is French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko, while world number one Angelique Kerber has just finished.

    It's a selfie hunter's dream.

A deeply unhelpful shift time there Ross. You may just have time to see a bit of Angelique Kerber or Agnieszka Radwanska before you set off - depending on your commute.

Don't forget that you can watch all of the action on this very site though. I mean, I know not everyone can get away with following sport while working. Some people out there actually have proper jobs where they have to work hard and stuff.

    I presume.

The breakfast of tennis champions? Probably not. It's not her birthday. So I'm not sure why Johanna Konta is carrying a box of cupcakes. The British number one was not keen on revealing why either as she headed to the practice court.

Konta, who opens up on Court One against France's Caroline Garcia at 13:00 BST, disappears as coach Wim Fissette and Andrew Fitzpatrick have a hit.

Has she found a quiet corner away from the paps to demolish those sugary treats? Nope. She is still carrying the plastic box as she arrive on Court, carefully placing them underneath a towel and next to her racquet bag.

  20. Who will be women's champ?published at 10:29 British Summer Time 10 July 2017

    Nobody knows

"There is no-one who I would say for sure will be in the final," says Kim Clijsters, a four-time Grand Slam winner.

"There is no real favourite and it makes it so exciting. We can puzzle about it now, but I love that there are going to be surprises."

Former world number one Tracy Austin, a regular as a player and a pundit at SW19 since her debut here in 1977, also expects an eventful second week.

"In my 40 years coming to Wimbledon I have never seen a women's tournament as wide open as this one," she said. "I have no idea who will win."

Our pundits have really cleared that up then. But who do YOU think will lift the Venus Rosewater Dish?
