  1. Federer with the double breakpublished at 17:14 British Summer Time 12 July 2017

    Raonic 4-6 1-4 Federer*

WIMBLEDON REQUEST: If you're going to make the players wear all-white everything, please make them wear different head gear or something. These two are completely twinning - with their dark locks and matching headbands. It's tough on the old live-texting eyes, you know.

Anyway, one of them brings up three break points. We think it's Fed.

Raonic saves one with an overhead smash, and another one with an ace.

But he can only volley wide on the next point. A double break for Federer.

    *Raonic 4-6 1-3 Federer

Federer comes in to the net to serve and volley for 30-0.

He does it again for 40-0. Milos is being run ragged.

After a baseline rally, Raonic chips long on the backhand and it's another love hold for the third seed.

A relief for Raonic as he gets off the mark in this set with a relatively comfortable hold. He's got that ace count up to five as well. He's still one behind Roger, mind.

Raonic has won a point on Federer's serve. This is not a drill.

At 40-0, Milos pulls out a nice little volley into the empty half of the court.

But the Swiss still goes on to hold.

    Raonic 4-6 0-1 Federer*

The net is Raonic's enemy at the moment. He's found it twice and it's 30-30.

The Canadian comes in close again, hovering with intent. He volleys over but Federer whips a forehand into the empty grass behind Raonic to bring up break point.

And then the sixth seed hits carelessly past the chalk in the corner.

    Djokovic v Berdych

The last quarter-final of the day is about to get going on Court One.

You can watch that clash over here.

    Raonic 4-5 Federer*

Milos Raonic has got 75% of his first serves in but Federer isn't showing any pressure at all. It looks like he's reading the match very well indeed.

The Canadian does hold in this game, despite being pushed all the way by his opponent.

    Muller 6-3 6-7 (6-8) 5-7 7-5 1-6 Cilic

So Marin Cilic goes on to play Sam Querrey in the semi-final and the pair have played four times, with Cilic winning all four.

The pair have been involved in two Wimbledon epics though. In 2009, Cilic won in the fifth set in the second round, before they met again here in the third round of the 2012 tournament.

On that occasion it again went to a decider, with Cilic taking it 17-15 in the fifth in the second longest match ever at Wimbledon. It went on for five hours 31 minutes.

We may well need to start a bit earlier on Friday.

  12. 'An amazing achievement'published at 16:51 British Summer Time 12 July 2017

    Muller 6-3 6-7 (6-8) 5-7 7-5 1-6 Cilic

Marin Cilic, who has just beaten Gilles Muller to set up a semi-final against Sam Querrey, has just been talking to BBC Sport. He said: "It means a lot, it is an amazing achievement after three times getting stuck in the quarters.

"It was a hard-fought battle, Gilles was serving well and I had to work hard until the end of the third set to get a break.

"I was really focused mentally and it was a relief to finally do it. In the first set I was not serving as well as in the first couple of matches, but I tried to gather my thoughts and continue to play good tennis.

"I saw that Sam had won, it is amazing for him, and great for both of us to reach the semis. He has an amazing serve, plays really well and it will definitely be a tough one."

Federer sends down an ace and then leaps like a salmon to send a passing forehand down the left-hand side of Raonic.

On the next point, he just dinks over. And then Fed finds another ace to hold to love.

The Swiss has only dropped three points on his serve so far.

Andy Murray on Johanna Konta, who is the last Brit standing: "I hope Jo goes on to win the tournament. She's got a fantastic chance. She played extremely well yesterday under a lot of pressure. If she keeps playing like that there's no reason why she can't do it and hopefully she goes on to win."

    Murray out

Andy Murray is asked if calling the trainer was a possibility: "No. There was nothing much they could do in that situation."

Murray on today's loss: "I was pretty close today. It wasn't like I was a million miles away from winning the match. The end was a struggle but I almost found a way to get into the semis. I was closeish. I got through five matches - the end today was tough but I wasn't far away from doing that."

On his hip: "As you get older things are a little bit tougher to manage than they are when you're younger. I've managed to deal with it for a very long time. I'm sure, moving forward, I'll be able to get through it."

    Raonic 2-3 Federer*

Milos Raonic lifts-off to land a heavy forehand but he slams it straight into the net. He won't be happy with that.

Federer doesn't capitalise on the mistake, though, and nets himself on the next point.

Another error from Raonic as he volleys out and it's another break point for the seven-time champion.

And Federer breaks! With the movement of an athletic teenager, he dives to his right to volley over and sticks the ball over his massive opponent and on to the baseline. A ridiculous get.
