Konta has these little mannerisms on court - the little hop, skip and jump after each point but it's such positive body language and it's really good to see.
It's almost like she is saying "right, onto the next point".
*Williams 4-4 Konta
A second double fault of the match from Johanna Konta puts her in a bit of corner at 30-30, but a rolling forehand down the line, as easy as apple pie, gets her out of the spotlight.
Martina Navratilova
Nine-time Wimbledon singles champion
Venus is serving so well so when you get the chance on a second serve you have to make more of it.
Williams 4-3 *Konta
Venus Williams turned professional in October 1994. Johanna Konta was three.
The American knows her way around these white lines. A foxy slower-ball second serve at 30-30 causes Konta, revved up like a boy racer, to swat long.
More wiles and street smarts from the American see her over the line.
She is milking that experience for every advantage.

Ian B: Considering how little Wimbledon pedigree Konta has, she's playing at an incredible standard, completely unfazed
Becky: If Konta sees weakness she needs to punish it - it's what she's been doing all tournament.
Kim Clijsters
Former world number one on 5 live
Konta has been serving like that the whole tournament.
Every time she has felt a little bit of pressure, she has managed to pull those incredible serves out.
*Williams 3-3 Konta
There is a very particular colour palette to the wardrobe of the centre court patrons. The green stands are filled with cool blues, pale pinks and Del Monte-man off-white. Nice.
Johanna Konta is matching Venus Williams, service game for service game.
Level pegs.

That's right. We can't think of a dog-Konta play on words, so why don't you have a go....

Williams 3-2 *Konta
Venus Williams' turn to take on the service tightrope walk.
One sublime stretching winner down the line, when Konta appeared to have the upper hand in the rally, draws appreciative oohs and ahhs from the Centre Court crowd.
A hint of wobble. But she survives to keep it on serve. Ice-queen cool so far from the American.

Tina Knights: After yesterday, I could really use a GB triumph over the US! Come on Jo!
David Smith: Konta Corner. That's much better than some of the alternatives I've heard
*Williams 2-2 Konta
Johanna Konta swats a mis-timed backhand well wide to plonk herself in some 30-30-style trouble.
A bullet of a serve, sniffing the whitewash down the middle, earns her an easy point.
But Venus Williams is not being turned back just yet. As dogged as Roger Cook on the trail of a dodgy time-share seller, she sticks about to take the game to deuce.
Konta has given her the slip this time, but it is the Briton's serve that has come under the greater pressure so far.

CerysHoops: Leaving work early to watch Konta v Williams. Will work late to make up time, but not missing this one!
Wafer Thin Mint: I don't think there's anyone as cool under pressure as JK, she'll be sweating ice cubes soon

Anna Thompson
BBC Sport at Wimbledon
I've just had a quick chat with Judy Murray, who was Konta's Fed Cup captain. She was helping launch a blue plaque rebellion, to recognise the achievements of sportswomen from the past.
"I've known Jo for quite a number of years and I would say on the women's side of the game, she is the most professional athlete I've worked alongside. Her attention to detail, her attitude, her commitment, her work ethic on a daily basis is really second to none. She's very methodical - almost robotic - in her preparation and she really sticks to watch she needs to do.
"She's worked so hard to try to become one of the best players in the game and she has done just that. The last two years have been really remarkable."

Very impressive first service games from both players.
I don't get the impression Konta is overawed at all yet. It looks like a great match up.
Williams 2-1 *Konta
Venus Williams is serving big and true.
She has landed 80% of her first serves and won seven out of eight points behind that tee-off.
Not a lot of loose change there for Johanna Konta.
The pair take a sit-down and a slurp of isotonic on serve after three games.

Jamie Wilks: I tell you what... the split second showing of nerves has been SMASHED by @JoKonta91 already. Come on girl!
Neil Leverett: Jo needs to bully Venus around the court, she is the quicker
