  2. 'Bedene kept his nerve'published at 20:52 British Summer Time 2 July 2018

    Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 6-4 Norrie

    John Lloyd
    Former GB Davis Cup captain

That was impressive from Bedene. The serve and the forehand were the two winners. I haven't seen him serve as well as that. He kept his nerve throughout.

He looked like a winner on court. He still looked calm even when he went a set down, stuck to his game plan. He was the more aggressive of the two and deserved the win.

    That'll be that!

    *Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 5-4 Norrie

A serve straight down the T from Cameron Norrie, and a sprawling Aljaz Bedene hoicks his return long.

In fact, this is terrific from Norrie, strong on both the first and second serves. He holds to love, and Bedene will have to try and serve this one out.

  6. 'Bedene in great shape'published at 20:43 British Summer Time 2 July 2018

    Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 5-3 Norrie*

    John Lloyd

Bedene doesn't even look tired. He's in great shape, like he can play for ever.

When you look across the net, you should feel they can't beat you on fitness. That is in your hands and no one else's.

    Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 5-3 Norrie*

The line judge wanders over for a word with the umpire, although we're not privy to the conversation.

Cameron Norrie lashes a wild forehand out of bounds to help Bedene to a 40-15 lead, although a little nibble from the net allows Norrie to dart forward and crack a winner cross-court.

Long goes the Norrie backhand, though, and Bedene is a game away from victory.

    *Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 4-3 Norrie

An excellent response from Cameron Norrie.

He gets himself to 40-0 before double faulting, but a furious, irritated swat of a forehand ensures he holds.

    Bedene 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-4) 4-2 Norrie*

Plenty of attempts from Cam Norrie's team - including Davis Cup captain Leon Smith - to gee their man up.

Bedene rather spoils that with a nifty love hold.

Long on the forehand from Aljaz Bedene, and Cameron Norrie helps himself to a 40-15 lead.

Ooft, a bobble off the net goes against Norrie, giving Bedene a glimmer of hope, and then a terrific forehand into the corner of the court takes us to deuce.

  20. 'Disrupt his service rhythm'published at 20:22 British Summer Time 2 July 2018

I think if someone is in a good serving rhythm like Bedene is, the opponent should change where they stand, to change the mindset, just do something different.
