    Pliskova 7-6 (7-2) 1-4 Dart*

Ouchy, Harriet Dart has gone over at the baseline. Her footing just went from beneath her as she looked to change direction.

The 21-year-old sits on the Wimbledon turf, head in one hand for a moment, but now she's back up and heading over to her chair to take a minute.

Let's hope Harriet Dart is OK.

What a return. Sizzling from Harriet Dart as she flings every inch of her frame at a punchy Pliskova serve to work it back across court.

    40-30.

Followed by a double fault. Dart was 40-0 down 30 seconds ago...

Chris: Yes Harriet Dart !!! Breaks Pliskova to love twice in a row! 8 points in a row against Karolina serve!

Joel: Pliskova's not playing aggressive at all.

  12. Pliskova breaks backpublished at 12:48 British Summer Time 2 July 2018

    *Pliskova 7-6 (7-2) 1-3 Dart

Pliskova gets her eye in, and rallies to a 0-30 lead on Dart's serve. Oh dear, that's not what the 21-year-old was looking for - a double fault brings up three break back points.

She's got a decent following though, the British wildcard. Ripples of applause and the odd shout of "come on, Harriet" after every point she wins.

    But Pliskova holds out.

  13. Double break for Dartpublished at 12:45 British Summer Time 2 July 2018

    Pliskova 7-6 (7-2) 0-3 Dart*

How about this? Harriet Dart, having lost the opening set on a tie-break, storms into a double-break lead in the second.

Karolina Pliskova didn't even get a point on the board in that last service game.

    *Cilic 6-1 5-4 Nishioka

Yoshihito Nishioka is still plugging away against Marin Cilic.

He's saved four set points - the third with a glorious little drop shot - to force the Croat to serve out the second set. Terrific stuff from the world number 256.

  15. Dart takes early breakpublished at 12:43 British Summer Time 2 July 2018

    *Pliskova 7-6 (7-2) 0-2 Dart

Fantastic start to the second set for Harriet Dart.

She breaks the seventh seed to take an early lead.

The Londoner rattles down her fifth ace of the match to make it 40-30 on serve, and then holds as Pliskova pumps a return long.

Obviously not fazed after losing that opening set...

For those not lucky enough to have claimed a ticket in the ballot, there is only one option: The Queue.

Wimbledon Park turns into a mini-festival site during the Championships (well, there is no Glasto this year...) as fans come with their camping gear, barbecues, frisbees and footballs.

On my way into the All England Club this morning there were almost 9,000 waiting to get in...

...including Kenichi Katsuta, his mother Junko and father Yuzo, who travelled 9,500 miles on a 12-hour flight from Tokyo for their first visit to Wimbledon.

"We wanted to travel around England, so we have been to the Lake District and the Cotswolds and today we came here," says Kenichi.

"We are big tennis fans - we love Naomi Osaka and Kei Nishikori. Today I want to see Roger Federer.

"I hope we can get in!" adds Yuzo. "I'm excited!"

    Fingers crossed...

  19. 'Dart has competed'published at 12:37 British Summer Time 2 July 2018

    *Pliskova 7-6 Dart

    Sam Smith
Former British number one at Wimbledon

Dart has spent 45 minutes with one of the best and competed. She has never played a top 10 player before, this is way outside of what she is used to.

  20. Game and first set - Pliskovapublished at 12:36 British Summer Time 2 July 2018

    Pliskova 7-6 (7-2) Dart

Harriet Dart flings one out of the middle of her strings to save the first, but she can only clip a Karolina Pliskova return long on the second and it's the former world number one who takes the first set.
