    Edmund v Djokovic

So, can Kyle Edmund topple Novak Djojkovic for the second time this year?

Edmund beat him on the Madrid clay back in May but Djokovic has got back into the groove since then.

However, the Serb did appear to pick up a knee injury during his second round win over Horacio Zeballos on Thursday.

I don't think Kerber could have player better. An hour and three minutes of top notch tennis - terrific serving. She doesn't have a huge serve but it is effective.

Osaka couldn't fins a way through her defence. Normally she can blast anyone off the court.

Good response from Ernests Gulbis, holding to love. Alexander Zverev is having a few words with the chair umpire "there's not one spot of white on the ball..." after his challenge was denied for taking too long over it. Would've been wasted anyway, it did clip the line.

And she's timed that victory perfectly for Kyle Edmund and his football watching.

Kerber's serve has been rock solid. Perhaps the most impressive thing we have seen in the match. And we have seen great defense, attacking intent and the introduction of the drop shot in this set.

Osaka has upped her level in the last 10-15 minutes. It is such a fast-paced match. 53 minutes and we're a set and a half in. It's been pretty pacey.

    Annabel Croft
Former British number one at Wimbledon

It is easy to forger Osaka is only 20-years-old, even though she has a tour title at Indian Well, beating some big names. She has a good record in Grand Slams, but not here. She is up against an two-time Grand Slam champion, and Kerber is using all that experience.

Osaka has the firepower and the game that can swing the momentum pretty quickly.
