Marshall: What a great effort by Giorgi. Going to lose but fighting hard.

Aaron: 36 or not, when Serena is on, or anywhere above 60/70% for that matter, there isn’t a single player who can stay with her and compete over 3 sets. Fact

Serena can't believe she hasn't returned a 110mph first serve. She looks disgusted with herself. That's how good she's playing right now. Imagine being that good? Camila Giorgi has played one of the games of her life and is still heading for defeat unless something dramatic happens.

Those big serves help the Italian take another game.

This is a credit to how Serena adjusts. We talk about the same thing with Federer and Nadal to an extent because he is a bit younger.

They way they have been able to improve and add things to their game. The mental toughness they have.

Still hope for Giorgi but Williams has upped her level significantly in the second and third sets.

This was the end of the second.

The crowd don't want this to peter out. They applaud Giorgi as she puts a serve onto the side line and then again when spins a forehand out of Serena's reach.

Giorgi takes a seat at the changeover, readjusts her hair and stares towards her box. There's still hope for the Italian.

Serena is so pumped. She waves a fist after another big serve that Giorgi can't handle. Now she lifts the knee and yells yet again after clinching the game. She wants this.

How do you play against that?

Just too good from Serena Williams. She turns and clenches both fists towards her box. That could be the crucial moment. Serena is a break up in the decider.

This is where Giorgi has to really believe she can take this match.

She faltered a bit and Serena upped here game, but it will come down to who can produce in the big moments. Serena has done it more often in her career.

This is only Serena's 13th match since returning to the Tour four months ago following a difficult birth. Will the lack of match practice come into play in this third set - Serena's first at Wimbledon this year?

Not on that showing. Some seriously good serving keeps her level.
