This is a credit to how Serena adjusts. We talk about the same thing with Federer and Nadal to an extent because he is a bit younger.

They way they have been able to improve and add things to their game. The mental toughness they have.

Still hope for Giorgi but Williams has upped her level significantly in the second and third sets.

Serena is so pumped. She waves a fist after another big serve that Giorgi can't handle. Now she lifts the knee and yells yet again after clinching the game. She wants this.

She faltered a bit and Serena upped here game, but it will come down to who can produce in the big moments. Serena has done it more often in her career.

This is only Serena's 13th match since returning to the Tour four months ago following a difficult birth. Will the lack of match practice come into play in this third set - Serena's first at Wimbledon this year?
