More work on the Novak Djokovic injury, as a physio, with both arms wrapped around the Serb's head and neck twists it one way and then the other.

It might be relaxing if you had that treatment in a spa, but it looks extremely painful out there during a middle of a match.

Anyway, the magic hands allow Djokovic to keep going. Into the second set we go, Cecchinato one set up.

    *Marco Cecchinato 5-3 Novak Djokovic

This is the eighth tournament Djokovic has played in this year, but only the second time he has reached the quarter-finals. His previous time came last month when he got to the semi-finals at the Internazionali BNL d'Italia, before losing to Rafael Nadal.

He is playing through the pain and discomfort at the moment, but does enough to win that game to prolong the first set. But Djokovic is still wincing in pain.
