  7. How will Pouille beat Djokovic in the other semi-final?published at 09:55 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2019

Novak Djokovic v Lucas Pouille (Saturday)

    Marion Bartoli
Former Wimbledon champion on BBC Radio 5 live

Realistically, Novak Djokovic is by far the favourite. He will attack the backhand of Lucas Pouille, which is his weakness.

Lucas will have to serve extremely well - he will have to find a way and be aggressive.

Lucas' coach Amelie Mauresmo is a very fine tactician. I think I know which tactics will be used. She will ask Lucas to slice more and use the forehand during the slower balls.

A crushing two-handed backhand from the back of the court from Nadal and it's just too fierce for the 14th seed, who only sends it low into the net and we remain on serve in an enthralling second set.

Is now the time Rafael Nadal's serve is finally going to get broken? It is not looking likely as a looping backhand from Tsitsipas is far too long and that is 30-0.

Almost every time Nadal is at the net he is successful. He punches away a volley and moves to 40-0, before a great backhand return brings Tsitsipas his first point of the game.

But it counts for nothing as the Greek's next shot is just wide and it is 3-3 in the second.
