    Osaka 4-6 7-5 4-1 Azarenka*

Naomi Osaka looks every bit like the world number one at the moment. She's playing a two-time Grand Slam champion, who herself is close to her best, but looks a level above.

Osaka can't miss. The court must look huge through her eyes.

Azarenka's arm looks like being ripped out of joint by the power of her opponent before eventually she gives in.

    Osaka is closing in.

Bublik has played two underarm serves, taking some inspiration from Nick Kyrgios earlier this year. Someone made the point that they could be the first underarm serves on Chatrier since Martina Hingis 20 years ago?

This year is also the 30th anniversary of Michael Chang's famous underarm against Ivan Lendl.

Someone like Rafael Nadal stands so far back so there is an opportunity here and there if you get enough side-spin on it to play it. We've seen it so much this year.

    *Osaka 4-6 7-5 1-1 Azarenka

Victoria Azarenka is showing plenty of the big shots that took her to world number one and saw her win two Australian Open titles before giving birth to her son Leo a couple of years back.

She's on her way back up the rankings after that.

This would be a huge win.

    Cuevas 7-6 (7-3) 6-3 2-1 (retired) Edmund

    Stuart Fraser

It will be interesting to see what Edmund's grass court schedule is. Does he need to rest that knee? It's not been a great year for him. He did well when he got back and got into a bit of a rhythm but physically he has struggled this year.

I don't think he would play Surbiton next week. Does he play in one of the early grass tournaments?

In February he decided to not play any tournaments after losing early on in Australia but this is a busy part of the season and there's not time to take two or three weeks off and pretty soon he will have to step on a grass court again.
