*Djokovic 2-4 Thiem
Another hold to love for Thiem. Djokovic isn't making much impact on the Austrian's serve so far.

Thiem leads 3-1 in third set when play is suspended because of rain

Britain's Johanna Konta loses 7-5 7-6 (7-2) to Czech teenager Marketa Vondrousova in women's semi-final

*Djokovic 2-4 Thiem
Another hold to love for Thiem. Djokovic isn't making much impact on the Austrian's serve so far.
Djokovic 2-3 Thiem*
A few more people have streamed in after that last break in play, but Chatrier is by no means full.
Thiem makes use of his firepower to go 40-0 up on his serve.
Djokovic 2-3 Thiem*
Djokovic holds serve with relative ease as Thiem's backhand goes into the net.
The world number one is still a break down, though.
*Djokovic 1-3 Thiem
The sun makes a brief appearance, but it soon goes dark and an umbrella flies across the sky caught on the wind. Dramatic weather to say the least.
Djokovic composes himself and goes 15-0 up on his serve.
*Djokovic 1-3 Thiem
Yes he can. The Austrian brings Djokovic to the net, then whacks a forehand into the open court. 30-0.
Djokovic's backhand hits the net, then fails to return a second serve. Thiem holds to love.
Djokovic 1-2 Thiem*
The umpire has decided that the rain has passed enough for play to continue.
Can Thiem back up that break?
Djokovic 1-2 Thiem*
"It's pouring rain," says Djokovic to the umpire.
Sounds like the Serb doesn't want to stay out there. Thiem has put a jacket on as they take a short break.
Djokovic 1-2 Thiem*
Interesting.
Djokovic slams one forehand after another at his Austrian opponent, but Thiem fields them all and eventually forces the error from the world number one. Djokovic's backhand lands out and Thiem has two break points.
A long rally ensues and Thiem comes out on top again.
*Djokovic 1-1 Thiem
A first chance for Thiem as the rain starts to come down. Djokovic comes to the net but can't get the ball over, then hits the ball out and it's 0-30.
The few fans that have remained in the Chatrier stands have got their umbrellas out.
*Djokovic 1-1 Thiem
Djokovic almost takes a tumble as he runs for the ball. He recovers, but later hits a forehand long. 30-15.
Thiem makes use of his powerful serve, holding with an ace.
Djokovic 1-0 Thiem*
It's a timid start. They engage in a 19-shot rally as both players try to work out how the wind will affect their shots.
Djokovic decides there's no need to do that again and puts in a few powerful serves to hold to love.
*Djokovic 0-0 Thiem
Thiem won the toss and has decided that Djokovic should serve first.
It has been and continues to be a very windy day in Paris, so the Serb hesitates before taking his first serve.
He puts a toss up, but the wind carries it away and he sets up again. Unsurprisingly after all that, his first serve goes into the net.

Djokovic claimed his maiden title on the Paris clay in 2016, which saw him become only the second man after Australian great Rod Laver to hold all four Slams simultaneously in the Open era.
But 12 months ago, after form and fitness problems, the possibility of Djokovic putting himself in this position again seemed unlikely.
Now he is only two more wins away from another piece of history.
Austrian fourth seed Thiem was runner-up at Roland Garros last year.
That was the closest he'd ever come to winning a Grand Slam and he has a big task on his hands if he's going to claim a maiden major here.
He has to get past world number one Djokovic, then beat 11-time French Open champion Rafael Nadal in the final. Easy.
This is world number one Novak Djokovic's first French Open semi-final since 2016.
The 32-year-old Serb is chasing his fourth straight Grand Slam. If he wins the title at Roland Garros, he will have held all four major titles twice in his career.
The 15-time Grand Slam champion is yet to drop a set at the tournament this year. Can he continue that trend against Austrian Dominic Thiem?
Nadal will either face Novak Djokovic or Dominic Thiem in the final, with their semi-final taking place next.
Both players played yesterday because of the rain delays, but came through their quarter-finals in straight sets.
We'll be back for that one shortly. In the meantime, have a read of the Federer v Nadal report here.
Federer 3-6 4-6 2-6 Nadal
Speaking on court after the match, Nadal said:
"It's incredible to play Roger here. Congratulations to Roger. He's probably the best player in history for me.
"It's always a tough match against Roger. It was tough conditions with the wind. I'm happy to have the chance to play another final here. It's the most important tournament in my career."

Roger turns into Rocky as the crowd chant his name. He’s on the ropes. They want to see more.
Then Rafa ruthlessly delivers the knockout punch.
“Roger! Roger! Roger!” rings in the Swiss great’s ears as he leaves Chatrier.
It’s almost like a plea for him to come back again next year...
Federer 3-6 4-6 2-6 Nadal
The chants turn to 'Rafa' now. He takes a second to tie his shoelaces before the on-court interview.

The crowd chant 'Roger' as he leaves the court. He takes his time, waving at them in appreciation.
