Great body serve from Novak Djokovic, and Roger Federer can do little more than twirl it out of bounds.

Ooft. Federer angles a brutal return of serve cross-court to get on the board at 30-15 but the Swiss seems to pull up as he tries to chase a ball off his forehand.

Still Federer finds the lines, a swirling backhand keeping him in this, and then we're at deuce as an irked Djokovic watches his backhand take a wobble off the net and drift out.

Forward comes Federer - and he's passed by a hearty swing of Djokovic's racquet.

Federer looks irk as he swings a short forehand into the middle of the net, and a move forward from the Swiss rushes Djokovic, who plants his backhand long.

Djokovic isn't going anywhere, though, and he earns himself a break back point.

Block return of serve from Federer, the two leathering backhands at each other...

...OH! That's OUTRAGEOUS from Federer! Djokovic has got the net covered and looks to have swirled his way to this point, Federer stretched out wide, and he somehow manages to angle a backhand down the line and into the corner to break!

My WORD.

Roger Federer makes a lovely return of serve from out wide and he can easily dispatch Djokovic's patted return to go 15-30 up.

Well then! A little wobble off the net might have distracted Djokovic, and his forehand drops well wide to hand Federer two break points...

That hold of serve will come as a mighty relief for Federer and help loosen up his body.

Roger Federer clonks down his third ace of the game, and he's got game point once again...

And this time, he converts! Down the T once again, Djokovic gets the return back, but Federer can't dart forward and pop away the winner.

After seven minutes, the Swiss holds.

Wallop. Ace from Federer to put himself within touching distance of a hold.

We're going to carry on, though, as Djokovic draws Federer into a rally and the Swiss eventually floats his backhand long.

Down the T goes Federer, and there's no getting that serve back.

Hmm. Another game point for Federer goes bagging as he's overeager with an attempted winner into the corner of the court.

Advantage, Federer... but that's a ridiculously good return of serve from Djokovic, surprising Federer, and Djokovic pops away a tidy winner to force us back to deuce.
