Nope. Another break point gone. Norrie's return goes into the net this time.
Schwartzman gives him a third go as he swings a backhand wide. Aaaaaand Norrie doesn't fancy it again. He looks like he doubts himself as his forehand sails into the net. Deuce again.
*Schwartzman 6-3 6-4 0-0 Norrie
Norrie has only come back from two sets down once before. Quite a big ask for him to do it again today. He's put up a good fight against Schwartzman but has never really looked like winning.
He does have a slight glimmer of hope on break point, but another unforced error on the serve return brings up deuce.
But wait... a second break point as Schwartzman's forehand hits the net.
*Schwartzman 6-3 6-4 0-0 Norrie
Norrie has hit 17 unforced errors in this match so far. That's a few too many when you're trying to cause an upset against a seeded player.
His frustration was plain to see at the end of that last set as he whacked the ball way out of court five when the final point was over.

Norrie has everything to do now. That set will hurt because he was right in it, broke back from 0-2 down, had chances but Schwartzman came through to win it.
While Cameron Norrie and Kyle Edmund play today, the rest of the British contingent in the singles must wait until tomorrow.
And two of them are playing each other!
Britain's former world number one Andy Murray opens Tuesday's play on Ashe (17:00) against Japan's Yoshihito Nishioka, who is ranked 48th.
British women's number one Johanna Konta, seeded ninth, will be on court about the same time against compatriot Heather Watson, with the pair playing second on court five.
Dan Evans, Britain's leading men's player and the 23rd seed, starts after that match on the same court, taking on Brazilian youngster Thiago Seyboth Wild, who is playing in his first Grand Slam main draw.

Norrie pounces forward to the net after his serve and the tactic works, forcing Schwartzman to hit his return long.
The ninth seed gets Norrie on the run though and there is masses of space for him to land his set winner.

We're having a brief pause as a couple of guys fix some advertising stuck to the net.
Norrie has shown impressive composure in the face of the scoreboard so far but he seems to be crumbling a little now as his forehand goes way wide to bring up 0-30.
Another ball lands long and Schwartzman has three set points.
Schwartzman 6-3 5-4 Norrie*
This game seems to be stuck on repeat as the two players bat backhands back and forth for longer than is comfortable and Schwartzman cracks first. 30-30.
Another scream from Norrie as he gives Schwartzman game point. Outbursts are a bit awkward on an empty court it has to be said.
The Argentine wraps things up with an ace and edges close to sealing the second set.
*Schwartzman 6-3 4-4 Norrie
A solid serve from Norrie gets him to deuce. And a body serve brings up advantage.
Good things come in threes and that would seem to be the case for Norrie's serve. The third one swings out wide and Schwartzman's return lands out. A very important hold.
Schwartzman 6-3 4-3 Norrie*
Schwartzman is looking to close out this set now and Norrie holds strong initially, but things starts to look a bit shaky at 30-30.
The Brit's attempted forehand down the line goes astray and Schwartzman has break point.
The 2016 US Open winner, and 2018 Wimbledon champion, Angelique Kerber is leading 6-3 4-2 against Australia's Ajla Tomljanovic on Louis Armstrong Stadium.
Top seed Karolina Pliskova has just started her match against world number 145 Anhelina Kalinina from Ukraine on the main Arthur Ashe Stadium. Apparently Dominic Thiem is watching that from up high in one of the empty corporate boxes.

2020, bit of a weird one...
And Flushing Meadows is no exception. Things are looking very different there this year too, and by different I mean emptier.

Norrie gets an opportunity on a second serve but his return lands out. Break point saved.
A forehand into the net, then another one long gives Schwartzman his hold. Norrie has let a few too many break point chances slide to upset a seeded player, it seems.
*Schwartzman 6-3 3-3 Norrie
A much bigger chance for Norrie after another unforced error from Schwartzman gives him break point.
*Schwartzman 6-3 3-3 Norrie
The juxtaposition between Norrie screaming "come on!" and the light smattering of applause from the crowd is pretty amusing. That's Grand Slam tennis without fans I suppose.
The reason for his outburst was Schwartzman's backhand into the net, giving Norrie a chance at 30-15 up.
*Schwartzman 6-3 3-3 Norrie
A 121mph serve from Norrie proves too much for Schwartzman. It remains on serve in the second set.

Schwartzman 6-3 3-2 Norrie*
Norrie has the upper hand after a series of powerful forehands but it all comes undone as he comes forward to the net and loses control of his backhand volley, sending it into the net. 15-15.
A lovely serve out wide gives him control once more and Schwartzman bats the ball into the net. 40-15.
Schwartzman 6-3 3-2 Norrie*
This is the time when Norrie could really do with a few British fans to get behind him and push him towards a break.
As it is, in the absence of fans, the game falls a bit flat and Schwartzman gets an easy hold of his own.
*Schwartzman 6-3 2-2 Norrie
All of a sudden it's all coming up Norrie, he serves an ace to hold to love.
