    *Konta 2-1 Cirstea

30-30 before Cirstea's charges to the net to swat away another winner.

    40-30. Nearly there.

    Aaaaaand... that's game.

The Romanian is still a break down though.

    Konta 2-0 Cirstea*

Cirstea's serving improves a little but she still hasn't found her range from deep.

15-15... before she takes the power off the racquet to secure a forehand winner. Touch!

    30-15.

Cirstea doesn't seem like a player who likes to compromise much with her shots.

Cirstea is the current world number 77 - she actually saw off American Christina McHale in the first round. An impressive win against a notoriously tough opponent.

She has played Konta once before - back in 2017 at Eastbourne.

    The winner? Konta... 6-2 6-2.

Russia's Karen Khachanov has just seen off his countryman Andrey Kuznetsov in three easy sets - it seems Kuznetsov was suffering a little with a foot problem or something.

And next on court five we have Jo Konta, who saw off fellow Brit Heather Watson in the first round, against Cirstea.

    It's another bumper British day:

We have Jo Konta v Romania's Sorana Cirstea.

Then it's British number one Dan Evans v France's Corentin Moutet

And, of course, British three-time major winner Andy Murray faces another tough test, this time against Canada's 15th seed Felix Auger-Aliassime.

Elsewhere, we have six-time winner Serena Williams against Margarita Gasparyan and let's not forget it's Nadal v Thiem... ah... wait... that's Nagal, Sumit Nagal of India against Dominic Thiem.

The prize? A place in the third round!!!
