    Kyrgios 6-4 4-6 3-6 6-1 9-7 Humbert

Some quotes from Nick Kyrgios, who has just dumped out the 21st seed Ugo Humbert.

Kyrgios says: "Not too bad for a part-time player. He is an incredible kid and I knew I was a massive underdog.

"It was easy to get off the couch as Wimbledon is one of my favourite events and I heard there was going to be a crowd so it was an easy decision to come here.

"Thanks for coming out last night, the atmosphere was one of my favourite memories. We're all struggling with Covid but it was great to be out here.

"I got home late yesterday and was in such pain physically this morning, but it's easy to get up with a full crowd and it was so much fun."

I just feel if Boulter can get more of those returns in play - just keep the pressure on somehow...

    *Boulter 2-3 Sabalenka

That is a wonderful backhand winner from Katie Boulter, taking it on from way behind the baseline, but it's a brief blemish on the card of Aryna Sabalenka as she edges to the hold.

  4. 'Great for tennis'published at 16:06 British Summer Time 30 June 2021

They embraced at the net and it's a lovely scene, these two know each other well, there's a lot of mutual respect - but Kyrgios has won at Wimbledon again.

It's great for tennis. There's a broad smile across his face, the naysayers may not like it, but the crowd are on their feet - they're loving it. They're the ones that really matter.

    Boulter 2-2 Sabalenka*

Oooh. That was wild from Katie Boulter but it works, catching the chalk and jumping up awkwardly for her opponent. Aryna Sabalenka dances around a forehand in mid-court but thunders it into the tape.

And Boulter, after facing two break points, holds serve for the first time.

    *Boulter 1-2 Sabalenka

Excellent combo from Katie Boulter! She looked to have won it with a down-the-line backhand but Aryna Sabalenka gets there and the Brit has to put away the point at the net. Deuce.

    *Boulter 1-2 Sabalenka

When Aryna Sabalenka is given opportunities on her forehand, it normally results in a winner - the second seed obliterates the fluff once more with a bullet from the middle of the baseline, but Katie Boulter does well to get her opponent moving thereafter and edges to 30-15.

A slower second serve leaps right on to that forehand side though and the result is inevitable. Boulter finds the Belarusian's backhand with the next but it comes back with interest. Break point.

Any other Grand Slam I would put Sabalenka as a huge favourite... but on grass she is not that comfortable, so I give Boulter a good chance.

Sabalenka just struggles to go deep in majors.

So the 13th seed is still in the draw but the 11th seed - Spain's Pablo Carreno Busta - is not.

He's put up a timid day's work and gone down to American Sam Querrey in straight sets.

A roar from Sabalenka, first one of the match, after a stinging ace - Boulter challenges it but Hawk Eye shows it nipped the chalk.

But that's some great baseline hitting from the Brit and we could be looking at a third break in as many games. Boulter has two chances here at 15-40.
