Katie Boulter is a set up and the Centre Court crowd absolutely loved that.

A huge roar for the Brit and many, many fans leap to their feet.

Aryna Sabalenka has marched off to the toilet and to no doubt recompose herself, and Boulter is sat waiting in her chair, looking very at home.

Katie Boulter seems to be embracing the moment - having a laugh and a joke with the umpire.

She seems less uptight than Sabalenka.

    *Boulter 5-4 Sabalenka

Superb from Katie Boulter! She waited an age for that return to land but watched it all the way and fired a forehand down the line. 40-15 and two set points.

    *Boulter 5-4 Sabalenka

Argh. Double fault from Katie Boulter this time, but she challenges and again Hawk Eye says it was in! And the chair umpire says not to replay the point... both players seem confused. I'm confused, everyone's confused. OK, we are replaying the point. From 30-0 for the third time...

This time Aryna Sabalenka wins it and roars in delight! 30-15.

    *Boulter 5-4 Sabalenka

Ace! That's not a bad way to kick it off, flying down the T. Katie Boulter rips another one down and Aryna Sabalenka fumbles it into the guts of the net. The Briton is forced to play the next but Sabalenka nudges long and here come three set points for the wildcard. Or not... Hawk Eye says it was in.

We'll replay the point at 30-0.

Sabalenka's playing at a heck of a rate. She's rushing to the her seat, she's rushing from her seat. Almost like she's trying to disrupt Boulter's rhythm... but she's actually disrupting her own!

    There she goes again!

The potential is really there for Katie. She has a great serve, she moves well around the court. She doesn't get too bothered by the pressure or being on Centre Court.

On the other hand, Sabalenka is rushing so much, she looks extremely annoyed by the balls she's missing. This is a really good opportunity for Katie.

The volume is also increasing on every Aryna Sabalenka shot, the Belarusian putting everything into her service game and thundering to a love hold.

    Boulter 5-3 Sabalenka*

The hollers and cheers are growing louder with every point Katie Boulter wins on Centre Court. The 24-year-old fires her way to 40-0 and then holds serve with a smart wide-serve/forehand combo.

She holds to love and is one game away from winning the opening set.

    Boulter 3-3 Sabalenka*

Double fault by the second seed and it gives Katie Boulter a sniff of another break here. She fires a superb backhand that dips over the net and the onrushing Aryna Sabalenka can only volley wide.

    Two break points.

    Boulter 3-3 Sabalenka*

Katie Boulter must be listening to Tracy Austin, she winds down a body serve and then takes the next point with a delicately placed forehand winner to hold. Smart stuff from the wildcard.

    *Boulter 2-3 Sabalenka

Katie Boulter is going to have to do it the hard way again... she loops a forehand long to give Aryna Sabalenka two break points but will challenge. And the Briton is right on the money! That just kissed the chalk. 30-30 it is.

I'd like to see Boulter go body-serve a few times so that Sabalenka, who's about 6 feet tall doesn't get a free swing

James: You can never count out Kyrgios. What a win! Takes out the in-form Humbert in five sets.

Lee: What a win that is for Nick Kyrgios...I always love watching him play.

Wayne: Unfortunate that Humbert couldn’t get the job done against Kyrgios, hopefully won’t be too long until someone does us all a favour.
