Djokovic v Anderson
Kevin Anderson has tumbled down the rankings (he's currently at 102nd) since making it to the 2018 final but Wimbledon brings the best out of him and he got off to a winning start against Chilean Marcelo Tomas Barrios Vera.
He also went a set down but recovered to progress with a 6-7 (4) 6-4 6-4 7-6 (4) victory.
No sporting trophy should be smaller than the Ashes urn. It's a strange one when two cricket teams battle all summer and then hoist something you can barely see.
Thankfully these mini Wimbledon trophies are for show purposes only and our winners will hoist something far more substantial.

Well after the disappointment last night that is some response from Cam Norrie
Delighted this Court 2 crowd!
Norrie 6-7 (6-8) 7-5 Pouille
Got it!
Cameron Norrie just keeps getting it back on to the Lucas Pouille forehand and eventually the Frenchman finds the tape.
The British number two levels this match.
Djokovic v Anderson
At 35, Kevin Anderson may not have many more matches to come at Wimbledon, but he's had some great times here.
His run to the final in 2018 included two of the longest matches seen at the championships. He put out Roger Federer 13-11 in the fifth set in the quarter-finals and then had an even more incredible five-setter in the semi-finals.
It was the longest semi-final in the tournament's history (and the second longest overall) as his match with John Isner took six hours and 36 minutes, with Anderson winning it 26-24 in the fifth.
That led to the rules being changed so it now becomes a tie-break in the fifth set when it gets to 12-12.

Novak Djokovic v Kevin Anderson on Centre Court at Wimbledon.
We've been here before.
Watch the highlights from the 2018 final as Djokovic won his fourth Wimbledon title by beating Anderson 6-2 6-2 7-6 (7-3) in a one-sided match.
Norrie 6-7 (6-8) 6-5 Pouille*
Cameron Norrie is making his move again, a superb backhand winner and that's 0-30. Lucas Pouille pops one of his own wide off the next and Norrie has three more set points.
We will have 7,500 fans in Centre Court again today and who could forget this clip from day one of this fan and her huge picture of a topless Djokovic?

Norrie 6-7 (6-8) 6-5 Pouille*
Lovely point. Superb reactions too from both players as they tussle at the net like a couple of cats. Eventually Lucas Pouille gets Cameron Norrie turning and the British number two can only loft his lob long. He gets over the line to hold, though, and the pressure is back on the Pouille serve...
Novak Djokovic v Kevin Anderson
It's nearly time for Centre Court to get going and what a match to start us off - Novak Djokovic v Kevin Anderson, a repeat of the final three years ago, but this time it's a second-round meeting.
Peter Odgers
BBC Sport commentator
Pouille might not have won a lot of matches but the Pouille we are seeing is the Top 20 man of the past.
*Norrie 6-7 (6-8) 5-5 Pouille
Screamer of a serve from Lucas Pouille to fend off a third set point and he then pulls off a delightful slice from an acute angle. The Frenchman cannons down an ace to hold.
Three set points saved and it remains on serve.

Berrettini 6-4 3-6 6-4 6-0 Pella*
Chris Bradnam
BBC Sport commentator at Wimbledon
That's a 139mph serve there! Berrettini's in the zone now. Having won Queens at the first time of asking, you can see why he's a lot of people's favourite as an upset champion here at Wimbledon. When he puts it together like this, he's so dangerous.
There's a real authority in walk back to the sit-down now - his coach will be mighty pleased.
Norrie 6-7 (6-8) 5-4 Pouille*
Saved again! Lucas Pouille bats it straight back down the middle and Cameron Norrie can't adjust his feet in time. Deuce once more. But then Pouille goes long... third time lucky for Norrie?! Set point once more.
Norrie 6-7 (6-8) 5-4 Pouille*
Great stuff from Cameron Norrie, taking control of the point and working Lucas Pouille around the baseline before the Frenchman miscues. A second set point.
