Another slip from Novak Djokovic. I reckon he’ll have plenty to say in his post-match press conference about that.
Kevin Anderson must be wearing studs.

*Djokovic 6-3 1-2 Anderson
Yet another slip from Djokovic and this one looks a painful one. The left leg goes from underneath him, the right follows and he ends up almost face first in the turf.
Only his intensive yoga training is keeping those muscles from tearing at the moment.
Forget tennis shoes, he needs rugby boots out there. Don't think the organisers would be too happy with that though. Djokovic manages to take that game to deuce on the Anderson serve, but it is not enough to get a break.

Djokovic 6-3 1-1 Anderson*
We've had 11 games of this match so far, just the two unforced errors from Djokovic, compared to 11 from Anderson.
If the Serb continues this form throughout the tournament he'll be joining Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal on 20 Grand Slam titles.

That was the best rally of the match so far. Anderson leaping in celebration - the crowd loving it. A superb way to move from break point down to game point up.
Norrie 6-7 (6-8) 7-5 6-2 3-2 Pouille *
A loose game from Norrie puts him in a bit of a hole to dig himself out of, as Pouille nabs an early break out of nowhere in set four.

It's about a combination of things.
Are you doing it consistently on ALL the surfaces?
Have you got a winning record against the other two?
They are all pretty great to me.
It looks like Djokovic is going to have the most ever, when all is said and done.

Dave: Never understood why Djokovic doesn't get the same love and respect that Nadal or Federer do. In my opinion he is a better player than Nadal and in interviews comes across as a decent, genuine guy.
*Djokovic 6-3 0-1 Anderson
Anderson has just lost the first set and is in immediate danger in the second. A double fault, followed by an unforced error, missing a volley at the net, gives Djokovic a break point but the serve gets Anderson out of bother.
Some lovely play at the net from both men follows and it goes Anderson's way and that helps the world number 102 hold on in game one of set two.

For Anderson, you don't get the feeling he's going to win a lot of rallies if it goes more than two or three shots.
He just needs to serve huge - get that serve in with authority and placement... but you are watching the greatest returner in history.

It seems like the only person that can stop Djokovic winning Wimbledon is Djokovic himself. He must see it that way too - he seems very focused. With the Roland Garros win, he maybe felt that was the biggest hurdle and that he's just got to keep pushing now - which clearly he's able to do.
I can't think of many players who would truly be able to stand in Djokovic's way.

Terrific serving from Djokovic and backing it up with just a moment of falter from Anderson.
Djokovic 6-3 Anderson
A hold to love from Djokovic, finished off with a gorgeous forehand on the charge that leaves Anderson rooted to the spot and that's the first set to the top seed, world number one and reigning champion.

The last few points, Anderson's lost the feel of the ball.
He has not been able to find the range, and that is going to cost him the set.
Samantha Murray Sharan has had to wait seven years to be in the opening rounds of Wimbledon again. She faces Sorana Cirstea in her delayed round one match today.
But this puts a smile on the Djokovic face - the first break of the game.
He does it with a break to love as well. If Djokovic has figured out the big South African's serve then Anderson is in a whole world of trouble.

Djokovic's footwork is a sight to behold - just to see him moving across the baseline. It's like watching ballet, watching his feet - so beautifully poised and balanced and quick, there's just so much about it. It's almost like ballet on ice at times, given the seeds of doubt that must be in players' minds.

Canadian 10th seed Denis Shapovalov is through to the third round without hitting a ball today.
Opponent Pablo Andujar of Spain pulled out of the Court 17 match - scheduled for this evening - with a rib injury.
And there is more important relevance for British fans. Shapovalov, 22, will next play either German qualifier Oscar Otte or... Andy Murray.

Another slip for Novak Djokovic and he’s getting a bit annoyed. A glance in the direction of the chair umpire, arms outstretched and a bit of muttering.
“Come on Novak” someone shouts.

We've all been ice skating. First time you fall over, you laugh it off as part of the fun, the second time you check yourself over, making sure you're still in one piece, the third time it happens you think 'this is really no fun'.
Djokovic, for the third time, hits the deck on the Wimbledon Centre Court ice rink. He's not too happy about it. It doesn't affect the game too much and that's another hold.
Hopefully we don't have to write about another injury on Centre Court today.
