Djokovic has got to find an answer for that short ball that stays low, because he's going to be getting a dose of that.

Djokovic has got to find an answer for that short ball that stays low, because he's going to be getting a dose of that.
*Djokovic 3-3 Anderson
We're still going at more than an ace a game. It's 3-3. Tight, tense and hard to call.
* Norrie 6-7 (6-8) 7-5 6-2 Pouille
It was edgy at the end of the first set last night, and in truth just a little edgy to begin with today, but Norrie's match tightness over the grass court season (and the whole year) is really starting to show.
He takes a two sets to one lead over the Frenchman.
Bianca Andreescu is the latest player to talk about the condition of the courts.
"The courts are pretty wet. I didn't just slip once but like five or six times. I don't think it affected my game but the courts are super slippery."
The Canadian fifth seed was earlier knocked out by Frenchwoman Alize Cornet.

John: Brilliant match before Andy Murray's match, Novak Djokovic against Anderson. Come on Novak, like to see you in the next round. Wimbledon Tennis is brilliant.

How do you irritate a tennis player? By not providing them with some energy-boosting fruit.
"Yesterday, no towels. Today, no bananas," chuntered France's Lucas Pouille after he lost the second set to Britain's Cam Norrie.
To be fair, that's what annoyed the Frenchmen more than the lack of an edible, bendy, yellow thing.
Although maybe the added carbohydrates, sugars and potassium would have helped him between the ears more than the legs in the third set...
Djokovic 3-2 Anderson*
A Djokovic forehand fires into the net and we're at deuce in the fifth.
But just when Anderson thinks he has a chance, a 121 mph ace follows from the world number one to get him out of trouble.
Five games, six aces between them so far.
* Norrie 6-7 (6-8) 7-5 4-2 Pouille
Confidence really pays off for Norrie as Pouille's level just dips a little bit to hand Norrie the first break in the third.
*Djokovic 2-2 Anderson

Djokovic had a few falls in his first round. It's unsettling to see it, but it's worse if you're playing. It just makes you that little bit more cautious, a little more careful, when you're trying to take a first step out to the ball - and that's never good for any player.
*Djokovic 2-2 Anderson

Slippy grass strikes again.
Novak Djokovic goes flying as he goes to meet a Kevin Anderson serve and there’s a huge intake of breath around the court. Flashbacks to yesterday.
Thankfully, he’s not hurt and quickly gets back on his feet.
*Djokovic 2-2 Anderson
Djokovic can't do anything as a blistering serve from Anderson flies past him, but then gets something on the next one as a cute drop shot brings the big man running in.
It's a second slip of the day for Djokovic at the end of the fourth game, but he dusts himself down and is good to carry on. 2-2.
Djokovic 2-1 Anderson*
It's been a drama-free start to the day on Centre three pretty comfortable holds to get us going and we're still on serve.

One game in and Novak Djokovic is unhappy with some of the chair umpire’s calls.
Felt a bit awkward on courts, murmurs flying from all corners.
This isn’t a good sign if he’s rattled already…

Ian: The surface is the surface. Grass is slippery. All these competitors are supported by the makers of tennis shoes. I am sure they have plenty to choose from. Pick the ones suitable to the surface and not the ones that look best.
Norrie 6-7 (6-8) 7-5 2-1 Pouille *
A couple of edgy moments in Norrie's service games after his efforts to level up.
For a man returning after elbow surgery, Pouille is playing freely.
Norrie just has to keep making things awkward for the Frenchman as they continue on serve in set three.
Djokovic 1-1 Anderson

Djokovic is a little on edge, he's not giving anything away, trying to take advantage of every single opportunity. He doesn't want to give Anderson a real chance in this match.

Nice big cheer for Novak Djokovic and Kevin Anderson as they emerged onto Centre Court.
I spotted a fan a couple of rows in front of me stand up and drape herself in the South African flag. A real buzz of excitement here for the first match of the day.
*Djokovic 1-1 Anderson
The condition of the Centre Court turf has been one of the main talking points of the tournament so far with Adrian Mannarino and Serena Williams pulling out of their matches through injury.
Djokovic does the splits as he tries to get to a shot, but he seems OK.
Anderson holds.
Djokovic 1-0 Anderson*
It's going to be a game of great serves and Djokovic bolts down three aces in his first game for a hold. Here comes 6ft 8in Anderson for his turn.
*Djokovic 0-0 Anderson
Djokovic, in only the second point of the match, challenges a call and is proved right, but his eyes let him down shortly after as he misjudges the length of an Anderson forehand.
Djokovic then sends a forehand long for 30-30.
