  2. Tomorrow's actionpublished at 22:12 British Summer Time 5 July 2021

Here's what's coming your way tomorrow from Wimbledon.

Men's second seed Daniil Medvedev and Hubert Hurkacz will resume their battle first up on Centre, after their match on court two was suspended following rain with Medvedev holding a one-set lead.

That's followed by women's quarter-final action, as Ons Jabeur meets second seed Aryna Sabalenka, and top seed Ashleigh Barty against Ajla Tomljanovic on the main stage at SW19.

On Court One, eighth seed Karolina Pliskova kicks things off against Viktorija Golubic, before Karolina Muchova takes on Angelique Kerber.

Elsewhere, Britain's Joe Salisbury is in doubles quarter-final action alongside Rajeev Ram on court three - not before 12:30 BST - and Salisbury returns for the mixed doubles second round with Harriet Dart later on.

  3. And in the doublespublished at 22:09 British Summer Time 5 July 2021

Britain's Joe Salisbury and American partner Rajeev Ram progressed in the men's doubles.

They beat Ariel Behar and Gonzalo Escobar 6-3 6-3 7-6 (12-10) to move into the quater-finals.

However, British duo Heather Watson and Harriet Dart fell 4-6 6-2 6-2 to Chan Hao-ching and Latisha Chan.

  4. Khachanov and Shapovalov also throughpublished at 22:06 British Summer Time 5 July 2021

Russian Karen Khachanov booked his place in the last eight by winning a five-set thriller against American Sebastian Korda 3-6 6-4 6-3 5-7 10-8.

An enthralling final set on court 18 featured a remarkable 13 breaks of serve, as Khachanov squandered three opportunities to serve out for the match at 5-4, 6-5 and 7-6.

"I would say it's not common, but it is what it is with the nerves," Khachanov said of the 13 breaks.

"When you are returning better, you start to read the serves better, and then in play, in the rallies, both of us were more stressed, more tight.

"At the end, the one who deal betters with this wins the match. It was more about this rather than who plays better."

Khachanov will face Canada's Denis Shapovalov, after Andy Murray's conqueror breezed through with a 6-1 6-3 7-5 win over Roberto Bautista Agut of Spain.

  10. What else happened in the women's draw on Manic Monday?published at 21:44 British Summer Time 5 July 2021

Tunisian Ons Jabeur produced a stunning display to defeat seventh seed Iga Swiatek and secure her first Wimbledon quarter-final.

Jabeur prevailed 5-7 6-1 6-1 to become the first Arab woman to reach the last eight at the All England Club and she will meet Belarusian second seed Aryna Sabalenka next.

The 26-year-old Tunisian became the first Arab woman to win a WTA title at the Birmingham Classic in June and, having become the first Arab woman to reach the fourth round at Wimbledon, continues to break new ground.

"I have worked hard for this," said Jabeur. "I've worked hard to earn my place here. I just want to give the example for many generation coming from North Africa, from my country, from the African continent, that it's not impossible, that we can do it."

World number four Sabalenka set up her match against Jabeur by beating Kazakh 18th seed Elena Rybakina 6-3 4-6 6-3 to also reach her first Grand Slam quarter-final.

    Annabel Croft
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

For Emma now it's about working with her team around her keeping her feet on the ground. She's extremely intelligent - both as a player on the court, and as a person.

  14. Postpublished at 21:31 British Summer Time 5 July 2021

Emma Raducanu was ranked 338th in the world before the tournament.

She's about to rocket up those standings after defeating the world number 150, 42 and 45 - in straight sets might I add - in the past week.

The youngest British woman to reach the last 16 at Wimbledon in the Open era. An incredible effort.

  15. 'Raducanu can take some breaths'published at 21:28 British Summer Time 5 July 2021

    John McEnroe
Three-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV

Maybe it's not a shame this has happened right now when she is 18. I played this tournament at 18 and it In a way I was happy I lost. I was able to understand what it would take to make it. Allow her to take some deep breaths and maybe get some wildcards. She'll probably get one for the Australian Open but I'm not sure about the US Open.

  16. 'Painful to see her go out this way'published at 21:25 British Summer Time 5 July 2021

    Annabel Croft
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

We've seen so much from Emma Raducanu in the course of this tournament. She's got a complete technique, a beautiful service motion and a good second serve.

She also has a strong head on her shoulders. She's very joyful and brings it the court.

It's painful to see her go out this way, but this has been a great launchpad. There's going to be a lot of interest in her now.

"I am really sorry for her, I wish we could have finished it. I am wishing her all the best.

"I thought I found my groove although Emma was hurt and not at her best which kind of explains it.

"It didn't really sink in I'm in the quarters because of the circumstances. I am thrilled to play Ash, and to have two Aussies in the quarter-finals is great for everyone back home."
