    • British teenager Emma Raducanu swept aside China's Zhang Shuai to reach the US Open third round.
    • Women's world number one Ashleigh Barty is through following victory over Danish teenager Clara Tauson.
    • Belinda Bencic, Iga Swiatek & Petra Kvitova have also advanced in the women's draw.
    • Men's German fourth seed Alexander Zverev cruised to victory over Spain's Albert Ramos-Vinolas in straight sets.
    • Sixth seed Matteo Berrettini is currently in action against Corentin Moutet, while world number one Novak Djokovic faces Tallon Griekspoor in the night session.
