This is a great battle. Evans steps up and brings Popyrin back to deuce with a volley. A backhand winner then secures the hold after a miss by the Australian and it's advantage Evans in the fourth!

Popyrin threatens an immediate break back but Evans keeps his cool and reaches deuce.
The danger remains, though. Evans goes long and it's another break point to the Australian.

The Briton drives a one-handed backhand down the line to bring an end to an enjoyable rally, but Popyrin is on his toes to sends a shot past Evans at the net for 30-30.
