A huge roar of "come on" from Sinner as Zverev floats a backhand over the baseline.

A backhand then slice at the net brings Zverev on board but Sinner hits back with a wonderful return.

First mini-break.

Cool as ice. Zverev gets the hold.

We're into a tie-break.

Sinner isn't going away. He's taking these forehands early and eating up Zverev's second serve.

The German has advantage again though, when Sinner slumps a backhand into the net.

Now an ace.

One goes begging... Then the second. Zverev puts in a big second serve and then absolutely thumps a first serve out wide to Sinner's backhand.

Deuce.

Sinner is on fire! He's got two set points!

Another big fist pump from Sinner. He sends in a deep forehand and moves into the net. Zverev can't keep it in play.

Zverev is still smashing out these first serves. He holds comfortably.

And there's the hold. Sinner has suddenly burst into life and he's got the crowd going now.

Is he going to force a fourth set?

WOW.

Sinner and Zverev tease each other with a backhand-to-backhand rally before the Italian smashes a forehand winner.

40-30 on his serve.

Britain's O'Mara and partner Qureshi were broken late in the opening set and they now trail in their men's doubles match.

Ooh, Sinner isn't going away.

He's just smashed through that return game and a double fault from Zverev gives him a big break.

The Italian is right back into it in the third set and will serve to try and consolidate it.

Right, can Zverev see this off?

Sinner is trying to push the points. He doesn't want any long rallies. Zverev just picks it off but Sinner responds with a thrashing return winner.

We've had some tight matches in the men's doubles today and we could be heading for another tie-break in the opening set here.

Britian's Emma Raducanu: "In the last year and a half I haven't competed much, so nothing has entirely prepared me for playing in front of many, many people.

"But I think that by not playing I just realise the hunger and determination to be out there. Once you're out there you just want to keep going and stay as long as possible.

"I'm extremely fresh. This whole experience is just so new to me. I think it's the enjoyment factor that I'm getting."

Oh nice! Alexander Zverev crouches low to reach a pacy wide backhand and somehow claws it down the line for the winner.

He turns to the crowd and stretches his arms out, asking for some appreciation, which he gets.

One break point is missed by Zverev, who is sent sprinting to the back of the court in an attempt to keep a wide forehand in play.

But he smashes a return down the line and takes the break at the second time of asking.

Zverev slices it as Sinner comes into the net but it's far too easy for the Italian to pick off and return down the line.

Britain's Jonny O'Mara has got his doubles match under way alongside partner Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi from Pakistan.

They are taking on second seeds Marcel Granollers from Spain and Argentina's Horacio Zeballos.
