    *Osaka 6-4 4-2 Brady

Game point to Osaka, thanks to an ominious forehand that Brady cannot return cleanly.

This is really good from Brady, who is slipping and sliding all over the place just to get those balls back over, and Osaka snatches a forehand out of bounds.

    40-30.

    *Osaka 6-4 4-2 Brady

"A big game for Naomi Osaka," the TV commentator muses.

So what does she do? Blast down a huge first serve and then an ace to get to 30-0.

That's a terrific defensive return from Brady though, somehow keeping herself in a rally as she's sent back and forth behind the baseline, and it's Osaka who makes the error as her forehand deflects off the tape and goes out.
