A shaky service game for Boulter presents Burel with another break point, but the unfazed Briton steadies the ship to make it four games apiece.

    Williams 5-4 Tan*

Serena is doing her best to "come on!" and scream her way into the ascendancy, urging herself to wake up as she leaves a Tan forehand that was perilously close to dropping in.

Her mum, Oracene, looks completely unruffled by what's unfolding in front of her. She's an absolute icon.

Excellent court coverage from both players and it's Serena who comes out on top to hold to love.

She's a game away from taking the opening set in her first singles match for a year.
