Forward comes Serena - but she pushes her strike at the net long!
Deuce.
Broady 4-6 6-3 7-5 3-3 Klein*
Britain's Liam Broady is two sets to one up over Slovakia's Lukas Klein with it on serve midway through the fourth set.
The winner will take on Argentina's 12th seed Diego Schwartzman in round two after he beat American lucky loser Stefan Kozlov 6-3 6-2 6-2.
Williams 1-2 Tan*
Hello, Serena...
A serve from Harmony Tan goes flying back past her at speed to hand Serena Williams a break back point.
Williams 1-2 Tan*
Nice from Harmony Tan, going cross-court with a backhand that beats Serena Williams' outstretched racquet.
Now, is this out? A backhand from Tan looked long, Williams has her arm straight in the air - but it's just touched the line! Ouch.
40-30 to Tan... oh, but that's better from Williams! She comes sprinting forward to a drop shot, flicks it over and then peddles back to smash home the overhead and force deuce.
Williams 1-2 Tan*
That's a bit more like it from Williams, latching onto a second serve from Tan and then stepping into the court to draw the error out of her opponent.
The ball isn't quite making the noise off the racquet that Williams would like, a shake of the head coming as she sends a forehand long, but another thunderous return of a second serve gives Williams an opening at 15-30.

Ah. Dan Evans was very close, but the second set is then swiftly put out of reach.
The British world number 33 misses a break point, and Jason Kubler delivers when it counts to put away his second set point.
The Australian is undergoing a medical timeout before the third - and potentially final - set gets under way.

One thing I wouldn't be surprised to see is Serena playing herself into the match. We saw it in Eastbourne - she played better and better in both matches.
Williams 1-2 Tan*
That's the first cry of "c'mon!" from Serena as a Harmony Tan return flies long over the baseline.
She follows a double fault with her nicest bit of play so far, a quick one-two punch right into the corner of the court, and she gets on the board as Tan floats a backhand into the net.
Evans 1-6 4-5 Kubler*

I’m not sure I’ve seen that one before.
A phone can be heard ringing as Jason Kubler prepares to serve. It’s the umpire’s!
“It’s not going to ring again is it,” enquires Dan Evans. He’s assured it won’t. A moment of laughter but then it’s quickly back to business…
*Williams 0-2 Tan
Williams sends a pair of backhands long before she finally gets on the board as Tan can't angle a cross-court shot in.
Williams hangs her head in annoyance as Tan serves and volleys, and the American sends her passing shot wide.
It's 40-15 to Tan and she recovers well from an unfortunate slip to outmuscle Williams out wide on the serve.

Serena hasn't played for a year, and this means so much to her. I know I got more nervous the older I got.
Evans 1-6 4-5 Kubler*

A shout of “Let’s go Evans, let’s go” is echoed by others around the court. Most offer a supportive rhythmic clap.
The Briton answers those calls by forcing Jason Kubler to serve for a two-set lead with an impressive love hold. Can he strike back? It’s a long, long way to back from here if he can’t…
Yesterday we saw some matches be unable to be completed on Monday following two rain delays.
Today, a couple of matches have already been pushed on to tomorrow, including Britain's Harriet Dart (pictured), who will now play Spain's Rebeka Masarova on Wednesday.
American eighth seed Jessica Pegula has also been given the evening off with her match with Donna Vekic also rescheduled.
Williams 0-1 Tan*
Up to the net comes Serena Williams, but she can't put away the forehand that is fired back at her by Harmony Tan.
The early break goes the way of the Frenchwoman.
*Williams 0-0 Tan
A big serve from Williams, and Tan goes long.
15-40.
*Williams 0-0 Tan
An off-balance Williams slides a backhand into the net on the first point of the match before going skewhiiff over the tramlines.
Williams comes forward, the court open for a winner, and goes long.
Three early break points for Tan.

Auger-Aliassime 7-6 (7-5) 4-6 6-7 (9-11) Cressy
If sixth seed Felix Auger-Aliassime is to get into the second round, he's going to have to take the long-haul route.
His match against American Maxime Cressy has already gone past the three-hour mark, with Cressy winning the third set 11-9 on a tie-break.
Both players had set points in the third set, but it was the world number 45 who won it to move two sets to one ahead.

Venus Williams is poised for a surprise Wimbledon appearance after requesting a late wildcard to play alongside Jamie Murray in the mixed doubles.
The 42-year-old American is a five-time singles champion at the All England Club and won the doubles with her sister Serena on six occasions.
Murray, 36, has twice won the mixed doubles at Wimbledon, in 2007 and 2017.
The Scot partners Bruno Soares in the doubles as the pair seek a third Grand Slam success together.
