  10. Next up for Nick Kyrgios is 20-year-old American Brandon Nakashima, the world number 56.

    Nakashima knocked out Canadian 13th seed Denis Shapovalov in round two and won 6-4 6-4 6-1 against Colombia's Daniel Galan in the third round.

    Kyrgios is into the fourth round of a slam for the first time since the 2020 Australian Open. He last made the fourth round of Wimbledon in 2016 with his best run coming two years earlier when he got to the quarter-finals before he lost to Milos Raonic.

  11. 'Whatever happens on court, I love him'

    Nick Kygrios speaking in his on-court interview: "Honestly, it was a hell of an atmosphere, an amazing match. I felt like the favourite coming in, I beat him a couple of weeks ago.

    "He's a hell of a player, he knows how to beat me, he's beaten me once. I'm so happy to be through. He [Tsitsipas] was getting frustrated at times and it is a frustrating sport.

    "I have ultimate respect for him, whatever happens on the court I love him and I'm close with his brother. It's amazing, everywhere I go I seem to have full stadiums. The media loves to say I'm bad for the sport but clearly I'm not."

    On preparations for next round: "I'm going to rest, recover and do everything right and hopefully I can keep going."

    A fan on the side opposite the umpire's chair was leant back with his hands placed behind his head and elbows stuck out during those final few points.

    Eyes bulged with the stress of what he was watching.

    It was a feeling felt by all 10,000 or so on Court One.

    An emotional rollercoaster for everyone concerned.

    Nick Kyrgios wins it, with a beautifully weighted drop shot, Tsitsipas can only just get there but can only send it into the net.

    Fourth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas is out. Nick Kyrgios moves into the fourth round.

  18. Kyrgios sends Tsitsipas wide and he then flips the backhand winner in the space he created. 8-7, match point number two for Kyrgios.
