A hold to 15 from Djokovic who has no problems in that game.

It's difficult to tell whether the Centre Court audience really, really want Tim van Rijthoven to win here - or whether they just keep encouraging him because the line 'Come on Tim' is proving such a crowd pleaser.
We'll give them the benefit of the doubt, shall we?
Dutch Tim won't be complaining as he attempts to force his way back into this contest. I imagine English Tim will be watching on with a little grin on his face too...
*Djokovic 6-2 2-2 Van Rijthoven
Excellent character from Van Rijthoven who saves a break point, partially thanks to some superb serving, and we're still on serve.
Djokovic 6-2 2-1 Van Rijthoven*
Rijthoven can only clip the top of the net and then hands Novak Djokovic a break-point chance, but it's not on the table for long though as the Dutchman produces his seventh ace of the match.
Djokovic 6-2 2-1 Van Rijthoven*
Still plenty of people enjoying the action outside via the big screens on Henman Hill.
There's a nice sunset, although obviously the players and fans on Centre Court won't be able to enjoy it as the roof is closed.
Djokovic 6-2 2-1 Van Rijthoven*
A hold to love for Djokovic, who had strolled forward and volleys away a winner with Van Rijthoven nowhere to be seen.

Van Rijthoven is trying to straddle that line between not allowing Djokovic rhythm, and going too big with his serve. It is tough to get that balance right, but he is going for a lot of aces because he is thinking he cannot let this guy get a racquet on it.
*Djokovic 6-2 1-1 Van Rijthoven
Some superb serving from Tim van Rijthoven, who has picked up five aces already against Novak Djokovic, stops the reigning champion picking up any more momentum and we're on serve in the second set.

It's tough to know what Van Rijthoven can do differently now because he wasn't playing that badly. If I was coaching him I would get him to back off his serve a little and get his percentage up - you have got to hit the corners against this guy. I would try to body serve Djokovic too.
Djokovic 6-2 1-0 Van Rijthoven*
A hold to 30 for Novak Djokovic to kickstart the second set and that's four of the past five games that he has won.

The crowd are loving the fight being displayed by massive underdog Tim van Rijthoven on Centre Court.
He battles through a set point, but there's nothing he can do about that winner from Novak Djokovic!
Trigger, pulled. That backhand made an incredibly satisfying sound as it flew down the line.
One set down, but a fresh canvas for the Dutchman to work with in the second set. Can he take his next opportunity?
Earlier today, Carlos Alcaraz lost to Jannik Sinner, who will next play either Novak Djokovic or Tim van Rijthoven.
Alcaraz has just tweeted the following...

It is that continual pressure from Djokovic that gets to you.
Van Rijthoven is having to hit all of these balls and is not getting any free points - when that happens, it means you start hitting even bigger, and your percentage drops.
Djokovic 6-2 Van Rijthoven
An ace at 133 mph from Van Rijthoven keeps the game alive, but he then goes long to give Djokovic set point.
A great serve, with Djokovic, stretching to his left and unable to do much with the pace, sees off that one. But Djokovic earns another one and this time finishes it off with a gorgeous two-handed backhand winner down the line.
Djokovic 5-2 Van Rijthoven*
A lovely lob from Djokovic takes him to 15-30, two points from the set.
Djokovic 5-2 Van Rijthoven*
Djokovic has now had to save three break points in this match, he saves one in this game and is now just one game away from the first set.
*Djokovic 4-2 Van Rijthoven
Van Rijthoven with a break point. Considering a month ago he had never won an ATP Tour match, this is a hugely impressive few weeks he's been having.
*Djokovic 4-2 Van Rijthoven
Van Rijthoven with a hold to love and he's got some impressive serving stats, winning 90% of points on his first serve - against Novak Djokovic.
The six-time Wimbledon champion is still a break up though.
Djokovic 4-1 Van Rijthoven*

Novak Djokovic has got the intensity going and he's pumping his fists. He's showing he doesn't care if he doesn't know this guy or know much about him, he's coming at this as though this guy is one of the best in the world and showing him respect. As he should.
