Long from Tim van Rijthoven - and a roar from Novak Djokovic.
The Dutchman had a great opportunity to register an immediate response there and you can tell by the top seed's reaction just how big he feels that hold is.
That would have given Van Rijthoven bags of confidence. Instead, Djokovic is in control.
"Come on Tim" shout the crowd. Yep, that one has been said a lot.
Mertens 6-7 (9-11) 4-6 Jabeur
There are a few Tunisian flags in the crowd on Court One, showing support for Ons Jabeur after her victory against Elise Mertens.
Jabeur is asked about being a trail-blazer for Arab and African players and she replies: "I enjoy playing a lot. Sometimes failing and succeeding after. I wish I could really give that message to the young generation not just from my country but from the African continent.
"I want to see more players here. I want them to believe more in themselves and believe they can be here.
"I don't come from a rich family so you have to stop finding excuses and just go for it, enjoy it."
Djokovic 3-0 Van Rijthoven*
Djokovic roars as Van Rijthoven sends a powerful forehand too long. We've been playing 20 minutes and only had three games on Centre Court.
Van Rijthoven has already shown Djokovic he has a match on his hands, but Djokovic, doing what he does, is 3-0 ahead.
*Djokovic 2-0 Van Rijthoven
Novak Djokovic has already had to save two break points in this game as Van Rijthoven has made an impressive start, showing us his power, serving ability and technical skills. Can he turn that into games on the board though?

Sam Wheeler: Epic finish, can't remember anything like that in a doubles match since Stich & McEnroe

Wow! Where do you even start with that tie-break?!
There may be disappointment that Jamie Murray and Venus Williams are out of the mixed doubles but the crowd were enthralled by what they've just witnessed.
Superb play from both pairings as it swung one way and then another, outstanding reflexes, stunning winners and a huge ovation for Jonny O'Mara and Alicia Barnett as they take in the deserved acclaim. Roars too for Murray and Williams as they walk off court two.
It was only two matches but they brought a lot of joy to Wimbledon 2022.
Mertens 6-7 (9-11) 4-6 Jabeur
Never a nice way to lose a match.
Elise Mertens serves a double fault and that seals third seed Ons Jabeur's place in the quarter-finals.
The Tunisian slams the Wimbledon turf with her hands in celebration.
*Djokovic 2-0 Van Rijthoven
Van Rijthoven has a chance to get an immediate break back at 30-40 as Djokovic, crouching and off balance can only flick one into the net from the baseline.

Ros: OH MY DAYS! WHAT A DOUBLES MATCH!! Congrats to O'Mara & Barnett!!
*Djokovic 2-0 Van Rijthoven
Novak Djokovic gets the break at the first available opportunity, despite Van Rijthoven showing how dangerous his serve could be.

Georgie Heath: This mixed doubles game will go down as one of the greats
Djokovic 1-0 Van Rijthoven*
It's the biggest match of Tim Rijthoven's career and he's already shown his lethal serving ability, getting an ace at the third attempt.
We're at deuce though, with Djokovic hunting an early break.
Murray/Williams 6-3 4-6 6-7 (16-18) O'Mara/Barnett
VENUS WILLIAMS AND JAMIE MURRAY ARE OUT.
What an unbelievable match. On their fifth match point, and having saved five match points themselves, Alicia Barnett and Jonny O'Mara win a cracker.
They will play top seeds Jean-Julien Rojer and Ena Shibahara or Australian duo Matthew Ebden and Samantha Stosur in the quarter-finals.
Djokovic 1-0 Van Rijthoven*
Some Djokovic magic in the opening set. He's sliding, facing the wrong way, but still manages to produce an inch-perfect lob with Van Rijthoven stranded. Djokovic, who has won this tournament on each of the last three times it has been held, begins with a hold to 15.

Strange to see the roof closed with so much light still trickling through from outside.
There can only be one winner tonight, right?
If Tim van Rijthoven can pull off a result on Centre Court, it would go down as one of the all-time major upsets.
He’s aiming to become the lowest ranked man to beat the top seed at Wimbledon since 2003, the lowest ranked man to reach the last eight here since 2014, and only the eighth man to reach the quarters on his Grand Slam debut in the open era.
Surely not…
*Djokovic 0-0 Rijthoven
Novak Djokovic to serve after his opponent won the toss.
Murray/Williams 6-3 4-6 6-6 O'Mara/Barnett
12-12 in the match tie-break. This is brilliant entertainment and I daren't call a winner.
Djokovic v Van Rijthoven
We have just seen Italian Jannik Sinner, the 10th seed, battle his way past Carlos Alcaraz and Sinner plays the winner of Djokovic v Van Rijthoven in the quarter-finals.
