Danielle Collins adds: "I have a lot of people to thank - everyone who came to support me these past two weeks, we all met by chance and are now friends for life! It means the world to me.
"Marty, I don't want to get too choked up but I wouldn't be here without your support, thank you for believing in me!
"Thank you Joe, my amazing boyfriend, for taking time off of work also to help bring some normality to my life - I can't wait for more adventures and good times ahead."

Here is runner-up Danielle Collins: "First I think I owe a big congratulations to Ash on a phenomenal two weeks and phenomenal couple of years.
"I really admire you as the player you are, the variety in your game and hopefully I can implement some of that into mine.
"We wouldn't be standing here without all of the awesome people behind this tournament, it is one of my favourite events to compete at and I am so grateful, it is a childhood dream of mine - I think this is most of the players' favourite Grand Slams."
Danielle Collins says this is a "childhood dream" and describes her run to the Australian Open final as "incredible".
The American gets emotional as she thanks her team for all their support along the way too.
Full quotes to come.
Four-time Australian Open champion Evonne Goolagong Cawley joins the presentation.
She gets a wonderful reception from the crowd and will present runner-up Danielle Collins with her trophy.

First to speak is Jayne Hrdlicka, chairperson of Tennis Australia:
"A spectacular two week of tennis for Ash, almost flawless," she says.
"Tonight was the night of all nights for you, a spectacular opportunity to bring home another Grand Slam title. She has inspired women and girls into sport for years.
"Ash, your humility, work ethic and kind and generous spirit truly does inspire everyone around you and instils in us great pride."
A mention too, of course, for Danielle Collins, who gave Ash Barty plenty to think about in that second set.
The American was competing in her first Grand Slam final, less than a year after having surgery for endometriosis.
Collins stepped away from the tour to undergo surgery last year, returning at Roland Garros and subsequently winning two WTA titles.
The world number 30, who is set to move into the top 10 following this run, led 5-1 in that second set before Barty's brilliant fightback.
The stage is set for the presentation ceremony.
We'll get the thoughts of Ash Barty shortly.

Winning Wimbledon last year helped set this one in motion.
The fact she was wearing an Evonne Goolagong-inspired dress to celebrate her victory... dealing with all the pressure and she survived and stood tall. Not to take anything away from the US Open, this was the next one to win.
She has problem-solved her way through to this year's title.
