Every once in a while Tsitsipas is throwing in an unforced error, but they are reducing rapidly. There is a little bit of frustration for Djokovic, knowing that Tsitsipas is starting to hit the lines.

He's showing some serious fight here in what you suspect is a crucial second set. Will he get his reward?

Positive play from Tsitsipas sets up a smash at the net to put him within reach of the hold, but some great defence from Djokovic keeps him in the rally long enough to see Tsitsipas miss a routine volley. Deuce. More pressure.

It has been much better from Stefanos Tsitsipas, but here comes Novak Djokovic once again.

The mood is ever so slightly turning.

Suddenly Tsitsipas has a bit more belief.

A steely look is across the Greek's face as he waves his racquet towards his fans.

They have rediscovered their voices, too.

But if anyone knows how to snatch away any hope it is Djokovic...

That 0-15 is as good as it gets for Stefanos Tsitsipas in game six.

Novak Djokovic is maintaining an extremely high level, as you'd expect, and serves his way to safety. The Serb has won over 90% of the points on his first serve so far - he's not letting Tsitsipas have anything easy.

The clock ticks over into a second hour of play on Rod Laver Arena, as Stefanos Tsitsipas demonstrates his growing confidence with a stunning drop shot for the first point on the Djokovic serve.

Tsitsipas is just trying to do with his best with his backhand. He knows he has to do more with his forehand, but that's where the pressure is.

Djokovic is getting most of these first serves back at full strength and stretch.

Djokovic reaches deuce thanks to a Tsitsipas double fault, but the Greek keeps his composure to settle back in and get the job done.

A sweet forehand finds its mark and Tsitsipas edges 3-2 up.

Huge roar from Tsitsipas, and his first real show of emotion. He forces the error to recover to 30-30. These feel like huge moments in this match as the Greek attempts to strike back.

Novak is really keen. He has been doing really well on the first point, He knows Tsitsipas is coming back at him.

That was an encouraging game for Tsitsipas, finally making some progress on Djokovic's serve. He must stay focused to set up another chance, but a loose forehand flies wide for 15-30.

Adam: Was there one person who doubted that Novak would win this? An amazing tennis player and his fitness levels are unreal. Not much fun for the sport when you know the winner before the tournament begins, but I guess that's greatness

Tsitsipas battles with all his will but he eventually succumbs to Djokovic's pressure and the Serb hammers a forehand out of reach.

The Greek then completely mis-hits from mid-court as the nine-time champion turns the game around. An ace seals the hold.

Over to Novak Djokovic once again. We're whizzing through games at the minute.

For the first time in this match, Tsitsipas reaches 15-15 on the Serb's serve - and now the Greek has half a chance as Djokovic goes wide.

It looks to me as if Djokovic has done some meditation. This is very different body language today. The whole energy of what he brought to the court in the past few matches is very different today. He looks very calm and composed.

Tsitsipas is starting to play a bit now. These are baby steps, but important ones.

Stefanos Tsitsipas pummels a forehand deep into the court which leaves an outstretched Djokovic unable to make a clean connection and the Greek can edge clear at 30-0.

More cheers of delight from the Greek's support. He's hitting cleanly at the start of this set and a cheeky sliced drop shot gets the better of Djokovic as he responds with a love hold of his own. Quality tennis from both players.
