I feel like Djokovic has many gears to go, but Tsitsipas certainly has to go up a couple of notches.

*Tsitsipas 3-6 1-1 Djokovic
It's bordering on unstoppable stuff from Novak Djokovic at the moment, though.
A series of devastating serves continue his momentum and then a forehand winner polishes off a love hold. That really did take no time at all.

While there were small pockets of visible blue plastic during yesterday's women's final, there doesn't look to be a spare seat on Rod Laver Arena tonight.
A handful of tickets were available for an eye-watering A$799 (£460) yesterday through the Australian Open's official ticketing partner.
Shortly before tonight's match, the very last few were going for A$1,199 (£690) to anyone with the spare cash and able to hotfoot it to Melbourne Park.
If this match continues at the same speed in Djokovic's favour, it might well be dusted in a quicker time than Aryna Sabalenka's two-and-a-half hour win over Elena Rybakina.
Tsitsipas 3-6 1-0 Djokovic*
Stefanos Tsitsipas will serve first in set two as he attempts to kickstart his bid for a first Grand Slam title.
He arrows a delicious one-handed backhand down the line to take charge of the opening game at 40-15, and a fine first serve confirms a solid start. The Greek support find their voice again.

I thought Tsitsipas was going to come out with all out aggression on his forehand side, but it is not happening at the moment.
Not an empty seat in sight.
It's quite the atmosphere on Rod Laver Arena.
Can Stefanos Tsitsipas respond in part two of the 2023 Australian Open men's final?
*Tsitsipas 3-6 Djokovic
Just one is needed.
Djokovic takes first blood in this Australian Open final.
Tsitsipas 3-5 Djokovic*
Huge cheers from the Greek contingent in the crowd greet a Djokovic slip up at 30-0 up as he nets off the front.
But Tsitsipas then struggles to cope with a Djokovic serve and the Serb has two set points.

Maiwadas: This is turning into a 'Djoke' already.

There is a long way to go but Djokovic needed to improve on his semi-final and so far he has. He's played the best tennis of his life here on this court.
Tsitsipas is not really getting much out of his forehand. It is one of the best on the tour, but it's doing no damage at all.
Tsitsipas 3-5 Djokovic*
Another enjoyable rally kicks off Tsitsipas' service game, ended as Djokovic slams a backhand into the net.
Errors from both players see the next two points shared, but Tsitsipas takes control with his fifth ace of the day, and then his sixth to wrap up the hold.
Djokovic to try and serve out the set.

Tsitsipas is really trying to settle himself. The tennis he has been playing is not here yet and he needs to get himself going.
It is beautiful ball striking from Djokovic, pushing Tsitsipas back.

Ahutu: Once Djoko is zoned in, I'm afraid for the young Greek.
*Tsitsipas 2-5 Djokovic
Djokovic easily navigates his service game again, wrapping up a hold to 15 with an ace.
Tsitsipas will now serve to stay in the first set.
Tsitsipas 2-4 Djokovic*
The crowd are so loud that the umpire is repeatedly having to ask them to shush.
At 30-0 up, Djokovic shoots her a look as he prepares to serve as if to say "please shut them up".

Inside the stadium, I'd guesstimate there is a 60/40 split between Djokovic and Tsitsipas fans.
But, right now, all the flag-waving and noise is all coming from those of a Serb persuasion.
"Nole! Nole! Nole!" rings out when their man breaks and continues when he backs it up.
Tsitsipas 2-4 Djokovic*
A lot of questions that Tsitsipas is struggling to answer...
Djokovic passes a backhand past the Greek before Tsitsipas levels off the back of his own racquet.
After conceding the next point, Tsitsipas slams down an ace, and at 40-30 up, sends down another one.
Well battled.

Djokovic hits the ball so deep and so hard. In the first Tsitsipas game he came inside the baseline, to take the ball early and not to give him any time. He certainly started very well, hitting the ball cleanly and throwing a lot of questions at Tsitsipas.
*Tsitsipas 1-4 Djokovic
Serbia's Djokovic eases to 40-0 but misses a backhand by the tiniest of margins.
He then skews a forehand out of bounds, only for Tsitsipas to play a drop shot - probably not the best choice - allowing Djokovic to come in and bat away a forehand into space.
Annabel Croft

It's pretty clinical at the moment from Djokovic. He knows exactly what he needs to do, and is just taking advantage of a few lapses from Tsitsipas.
