Hmmm, Tiafoe is caught at the net and it's 30-30.

Djokovic raises his fist from courtside. He senses a European win could be close.

Ah-ha, there she is!

Just spotted Federer's wife Mirka - and, I think, his kids - watching their beloved husband/dad from one corner of the O2 Arena.

No, break point number six passes World by.

A mishit Tiafoe forehand then gives Europe the chance to finally close out the game and they duly oblige!

Sock and Tiafoe will be wondering how they failed to take that chance.

Yet another dead-eyed Tiafoe backhand creates a fifth break point for World.

But it's saved again! This game's become a real ding-dong battle.

However, after a bruising rally, Sock pounces on a Federer forehand and it's yet another break point.

Ooof, a terribly-timed double fault from Nadal gifts Team World their fourth break point of the game.

But it's saved again as Federer hammers an overhead between Tiafoe and Sock!

Another big roar for the Swiss.

All three break points saved by Europe as Jack Sock snatches at one.

Deuce.

Tiafoe fails to find the line but Sock does and it's back to deuce.

More trouble for Europe - they have three break points to save!

A strong Nadal serve helps them claw one back before a Tiafoe return strays narrowly wide. Ooooh, he thought he had that one.

Pressure on the Nadal serve now as Tiafoe shines again to put World 0-30 up.

The young American has impressed tonight, but that's hardly surprising given his recent form.

On Tiafoe's second serve, Nadal sends a backhand return wide. 40-30.

After another short rally, Sock smashes a Federer backhand away and it's a gutsy hold for World.

Frances Tiafoe serves to keep Team World in the match and they reach the halfway point at 30-0.

But a double fault puts a spring in Nadal's step as his backhand isn't returned by Sock!

After a vintage Federer ace, Tiafoe pops up to win a couple of points and ramp up the pressure on the 41-year-old's serve.

But Tiafoe's next shot goes long, and while World battle their way to deuce, Federer's serve holds firm.

He and Nadal are a break away from a poignant and memorable win.

Next game could be crucial.

Europe back up the break with a hold and they edge closer to a win that would certainly produce one of the biggest roars we've heard in a tennis stadium in quite some time.
