    Donna Vekic of Croatia is into the third round after beating American Sloane Stephens.

    Stephens won the first set 6-4 but Vekic fought back, taking the next two 7-5 6-4 to progress.

    Belinda Bencic is also closing in on a place in the third round after coming back from losing her first against Danielle Collins 6-3 to win the second 6-4 and is now 5-4 up in the third set.

    Cornet has really picked up her attacking threat in the second set.

    Rybakina has taken some of the pace off her backhand which has allowed Cornet to go for it and keep the set even.

    In the men's draw, ninth seed Taylor Fritz is looking to get the job done against Mikael Ymer.

    Fritz won the first two sets 6-3 6-2 but Ymer took the third 6-3 and it is now 3-3 in the fourth set.

    It continues to be a close battle between Frances Tiafoe and Dominic Stricker. Tiafoe, the 10th seed, won the 7-6 (13-11) and it's currently with serve at 3-3 in the second.

    The second-round match between 21st seed Grigor Dimitrov and Ilya Ivashka has just got under way on court three, with Ivashka leading 3-2 after getting an early break.
