It really is about how Liam Broady approaches this match. Does he want to to play outside of the box of his usual game.
Broady 1-3 Ruud*
And the fourth seed gets it, waiting for another Liam Broady mistake.
The Norwegian is so calm and collected on court. As cool as a cucumber.
*Broady 1-2 Ruud
Saved again. Great resilience from the Briton. Deuce.
But he errors the next point and Casper Ruud has a third break point.

Broady saves the first break point. The crowd get right behind him on Centre.

Broady was playing a lot of rallies against Ruud and maybe he was thinking this is not the way to play today. I don't think he can stay back against Casper.
*Broady 1-2 Ruud
A chance for Casper Ruud. Liam Broady nets a volley. 15-40.
*Broady 1-2 Ruud
No break point opportunities just yet but even more lengthy rallies.
Another one ends with Liam Borady gambling and fizzing a backhand long. 15-30.

No breaks and no break points yet, some long rallies. This is not a surface Ruud is terribly comfortably on. He is a Grand Slam finalist, but you may not have seen too much of him on the grass.

Casper Ruud will be happier the longer that the rallies go. That will favour the Norwegian.
Broady has to play short and sharp. Short slice and bring Ruud in, make him feel uncomfortable, and use the crowd as well.
*Broady 1-2 Ruud
I have a feeling this match might go on for a very long time. We've already seen plenty of monster rallies, the longest lasting 21 shots.
Casper Ruud has a bit of a wobble at 40-15, but gets over the line after a Liam Broady error.

Time for an Australian drama on court 18?
Alex de Minaur will be hoping not as he resumes his delayed first-round match against Belgium's Kimmer Coppejans.
But the Aussie is being watched by Home and Away star Bec Hewitt - AKA Hayley Smith from the 90s soap.
She is, of course, married to Lleyton Hewitt. Oh, he's there as well.
The 2002 Wimbledon champion, now the Australian Davis Cup captain, is De Minaur's mentor.
No sign of De Minaur's girlfriend Katie Boulter.
The British number one has got her own business to attend to, with her second-round match coming up a little later on.

No nerves from the Stockport left-hander so far.

Can you tell who the Centre Court crowd are supporting? Huge cheers as a Casper Ruud drop shot misses the line and Liam Broady goes up 30-15.

If we have rallies like that then we better book our table for dinner tonight.
Image source, Getty ImagesSo let's have a look at what has been going on elsewhere in the men's singles draw this morning.
Stan Wawrinka is leading by two sets to one against 29th seed Tomas Martin Etcheverry. That's happening over on court three. The Swiss three-time major winner would play Novak Djokovic, who he beat in the 2015 French Open and 2016 US Open finals, in the next round.
On court five Michael Mmoh, who caused an upset in the first round by knocking out 11th seed Felix Auger-Aliassime, is two sets and a break down against Germany's Maximilian Marterer.
Canada's 26th seed Denis Shapovalov is currently in action on court eight. He took the first set 6-3 against Gregoire Barrere and the pair are currently on serve at 3-3 in the second.
Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the number 31 seed, has seen off France's Arthur Fils in three sets on court 10.
Lorenzo Musetti is also close to completing a straight-set win over Jaume Munar. He's 5-1 up on court 14.
*Broady 0-1 Ruud
Strong start from Briton Liam Broady who races into a 15-30 lead. But Casper Ruud looks unfazed, winning with a drop shot at the net before biding his time and waiting for Broady to backhand an error into the net.
Broady 0-0 Ruud*
Casper Ruud serves first and he takes the match's opening point as Liam Broady slices his return into the net.
