An ace, followed by a double fault from Stefanos Tsitsipas, and there's further encouragement for Andy Murray as a missed forehand from the Greek brings him to 30-30.

"Move!" Murray shouts at himself, unable to outmanoeuvre his opponent this time. Tsitsipas edges back in front courtesy of a couple of straightforward volleys.

Like the start of last night's match, serve remains king.

But the past two games have seen each player come more under pressure before digging in to hold.

The first break of serve in this set will be absolutely crucial.

If Murray takes it, you feel his biggest win at Wimbledon - by ranking - since the 2013 final will be his.

Andy Murray lets out a little grunt as Tsitsipas drops a ball short. But no bother!

The Briton races on to it, guiding a return down the line and there's too much on it for the Greek. That slip is but a distant memory.

Murray recovers from a missed forehand, a powerful serve out wide bringing him to 40-15. Another, down the centre, and he can focus his attention on trying to apply some pressure once again.

"Let's go Norrie, let's go" chant the crowd as they try to encourage the Brit back into this.

Cameron Norrie does manage to battle to 30-40 but Chris Eubanks powers home another thunderous ace to hold onto his serve.

Over on court three, fourth seed Jessica Pegula is in action against Italy's Elisabetta Cocciaretto.

The American, who has never gone beyond the third round at Wimbledon before, has been taken to deuce in her opening service game

It looked as though Murray was playing a little safer and Tsitsipas saw that and moved forward, trying to cut the ball off early.

Both players have got their thinking caps on.

There's a sense that the players are settling back in, with each reaching deuce on the other's serve in the past couple of games.

Tsitsipas, like Murray, doesn't allow the situation to worsen any further than that, however. A clean volley takes him 3-2 up.

A good response by Cameron Norrie as he breezes through his service game, holding to love.

It is the hottest day so far at Wimbledon and the sun is beating down on the court now.

Much of the crowd are in the shade, however, no doubt to their relief.

After that game the umpire told a gentleman to his left to “please stop commentating on every single point, it’s very distracting”.

A jumbo jet briefly disturbs proceedings on Centre Court, eyes going north when the flight leaving Heathrow can be heard overhead.

Planes don't usually go straight over the All England Club.

Maybe the pilot is a big Murray fan and keen to grab a glimpse...

Centre Court's lucky thousands sense a chance for their man at 15-30, but Stefanos Tsitsipas displays his variety with a couple of winners to turn the game in his favour.

An important hold to 30 with a thumping forehand means he remains in touching distance.

This court is by far the most exposed on the grounds in my opinion but the shade is just starting to creep around on the seats behind me. They are the most in-demand seats on the court at the moment as people scramble to try and get out of the sun.

It is much hotter today and the ball will be flying around a little bit more.

It is not easy starting at such an important stage in the match. You can see Murray is just trying to get his legs going there, bit of jogging between the rallies.

Tsitsipas swats away a backhand cross-court to deny Murray again, but the fifth seed fails to make the most of a look at a second serve and the Briton will have another chance to get over the line here.

Third time's a charm. Murray shakes his racquet in defiance, asking for a little more from the crowd. On we go.

Great news for the sweltering fans, grateful for the cool air in almost 30C temperatures.

Not so great for the players when they are trying to serve.

Murray has had a few problems with his ball toss, but that could be a result of the sun shining into his face when he's at the baseline opposite the Royal Box.
