  1. Poor passpublished at 14:23 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Swansea City striker Bafetimbi Gomis over-hits a pass to Jonjo Shelvey which would surely have given the former Liverpool midfielder a chance to run in on goal. Shelvey had no Blackburn defenders with him but Gomis failed to find him.

  2. Safe pair of handspublished at 14:19 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Swansea City goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski dives low down and holds onto Matt Kilgallon's header with Shane Duffy ready to pounce on any rebound.

It's getting a bit tedious and it's down to Blackburn not being quick enough.

It's quite easy defending for Swansea at the moment.

Bafetimbi Gomis is up against two big strong lads here and I think that Wilfried Bony would have given them a bit more a testing.

  11. KICK-OFFpublished at 14:02 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

The match is underway out in France.

Edinburgh's win over Bordeaux last night means the Cardiff Blues have already qualified for the European Challenge Cup quarter-finals - but director of rugby Mark Hammett has still chosen a strong side.

The Blues are bolstered by the return of three Wales internationals, Sam Warburton, Gethin Jenkins and Alex Cuthbert.

But there is no place for Scott Andrews, who was named in Wales' Six Nations squad.

One of the players he beat to selection, 95-cap veteran Adam Jones, is named on the bench.

Real Dazzler has tweeted: "Seeing Iwan Roberts and John Hartson stood next to each other at Ewood reminds me of a Braveheart battle I once saw!"

    An uncanny resemblance!

He also writes: "Credit where it is due, Gomis put in a shift in the first half. Wasn't expecting that but I'll doff my cap.

But Mr S Williams disagrees: "Gomis not living up to his own hype so far, been poor."

What do you make of Bafetimbi Gomis' performance so far? Can the 10 men of Swansea beat Blackburn?

  13. Wide of the markpublished at 14:01 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Tom Cairney curls a shot wide of the top left corner of the Swansea goal.

  14. Ambitious attemptpublished at 13:58 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Blackburn striker Joshua King gets to the by-line inside the Swansea area and ambitiously attempts to fire the ball past Lukasz Fabianski from an acute angle instead of cutting the ball back to his team-mates.

  15. Shot blockedpublished at 13:55 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

The first opportunity for Swansea of the second half falls to Bafetimbi Gomis. The French striker takes the ball past Matt Killgallon but his goal-bound shot from just inside the 18 yard area is blocked by Shane Duffy.

I think we will definitely see one of Jordan Rhodes or Rudy Gestede come on for Blackburn.

They are both in good scoring form, Gestede with 12 goals and Rhodes with eight.

King is playing really well, and is a real threat with his pace, but you would expect one of those two to come on and bolster the Rovers attack.

I've been disappointed by Swansea striker Bafetimbi Gomis. He's been sloppy and hasn't really got hold of the ball. He needs to do much more for this team.

Two fantastic goals. We know Gylfi Sigurdsson can do that.

But it was a nightmare start by Swansea, down to 10 men after five minutes.

Blackburn have done well but you would expect them to do well against 10 men.

The onus is on Blackburn as the home team to go on and try and win the game. I think Swansea would take a draw and a replay at this point.
