    Fantastic header.

Kenwyne Jones sneaks into the near post and hits a bullet header into the roof of the net.

Fantastic delivery from Whittingham, as you'd expect.

  8. GOAL (Kenwyne Jones)published at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

After a scrappy start, Kenwyne Jones puts Cardiff in front with a thunderous header from Peter Whittingham's corner.

Cardiff City Stadium was a little sleepy up until that point, with the empty seats and untidy play making for a subdued atmosphere.

As has often been the case this season, Cardiff's breakthrough comes from a set-piece. Whittingham's outswinging corner was perfect for Jones, whose firm header flew into the top corner.

  9. TRY (James King)published at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Ospreys exert pressure and go through the phases before Wales international James King, playing at lock today, gallops over in the corner.

After a quick check with the television match official, the try is awarded - King's first of the season.

Sam Davies converts with his first points in European competition, and it's a fine start for Ospreys in Italy.

  10. PENALTY (Tom Prydie)published at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Tom Prydie slots over another penalty to extend the Welsh side's lead.

If results stay the same the Dragons could guarantee themselves a home tie in the European Challenge Cup last eight.

  11. GOAL (Ryan Cresswell)published at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

In League Two, Ryan Cresswell puts Northampton in front against Newport County, who are looking to bounce back from last week's 4-0 hammering at Cambridge.

  13. Elsewhere in the Champions Cup...published at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

It's been a dramatic afternoon in the matches not involving Welsh teams in the European Champions Cup.

Leinster have become the second side to qualify for the quarter-finals after a dramatic 20-20 draw with Wasps at the Ricoh Arena.

Former England fly-half Andy Goode had a chance to win the game for Wasps with the last play of the match, but pushed his drop-goal wide.

It means Leinster top pool 2 on 20 points, while Wasps on 18 points still have a good chance of qualifying as one of the best runners-up but must await other results.

In the other match in the pool, Harlequins won 47-19 at Castres but, despite finishing level with Wasps on 18 points, Wasps have the edge because of better results in the head-to-head between the two teams.

  14. TRY (Elliot Dee)published at 15:09 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

A brilliant start for the Dragons as hooker Elliot Dee goes over after a driving maul.

Tom Prydie converts to add to his earlier penalty.

Dragons beat Stade 38-22 in their first meeting, and a repeat of that could see them proceed as the top seeds in the tournament.

    Swansea manager Garry Monk

Disappointed to lose of course. You're always up against it when you're down to 10 men so early.

Our plan was to try and get to the last 10 minutes of the game and then try and push.

But to concede the second goal like we did, that's what disappoints me the most.

I thought the [Sigurdsson red card] was very harsh... but we're going to have to accept it.

The six players that came in for Swansea didn't do well enough, I didn't think they were up to scratch from the start.

But [the Sigurdsson tackle] was never a red card, it's a yellow for me.

    Blackburn manager Gary Bowyer

We showed good character in the way we responded so quickly to Sigurdsson's goal.

The fact that Gestede and Conway are ex-Cardiff players, it will mean a lot to them.
