And I think that's it for the day - not a lot of wins from the Welsh sides, but plenty of excitement, goals, tries and talking points.

Thanks for your company, goodnight and nos da.

  2. Post update

Although there's no Welsh sides left in the Champions Cup, both Cardiff Blues and Newport Gwent Dragons continue in the Challenge Cup.

We've been waiting for the last Pool games to end and we can tell you who'll be playing who and where... [drum roll please maestro!]

And it's an all-Welsh quarter final with the Dragons hosting Cardiff Blues at Rodney Parade in the quarters.

The sides have already met twice this season in the Pro12 - and it's one win apiece. It should be a cracker on the first weekend in April.

  3. Get involved with #BBCSportWales

Cardiff have announced the signing of Lee Peltier - good news, Cardiff fans?

Andrew in Cardiff: Lee Peltier is good business... much better than Brayford and not as expensive.

Lewis in Cardiff: Sell a good and consistent right-back and replace him with Lee Peltier. #SladeLogic

Matthew in Cardiff: We'll probably give him away for free in the summer. Seems to be a new trend.

A little 'did you know' about Lee Peltier - he was Huddersfield Town captain up until transfer deadline day in August, when the armband was handed to a new signing. Who replaced him? Only former Cardiff captain Mark Hudson.

  4. Post update

    Scarlets 3-26 Toulon

    FULL-TIME

A last flurry for Scarlets as Priestland chips out of defence but it comes to nothing once more as the chasers overrun the ball.

Scarlets finish bottom of Pool 3 on eight points, Toulon go marching on to the quarters - and it will be former Cardiff Blues boss Dai Young who has the daunting task of taking his Wasps side to France.

  5. Post update

    MAN OF THE MATCH

Toulon open-side Steffon Armitage deservedly gets the award, he's been a huge pain at the breakdown for Scarlets and also looked dangerous the few times he's gone forward with ball in hand.

Sion Bennett comes on for Scarlets back-row Rob McCusker - only two left on the bench for the home side now. Toulon have used all theirs.

  6. Post update

    Phil Bennett

    Former Wales and Lions captain

It's such a strong cup competition, these are some of the best sides I've ever seen, especially Clermont.

It's so difficult to judge, especially after Racing Metro went to Northampton and thrashed them.

Yet you look at this side - they've not played well, yet they've strolled over Scarlets and they're leading 26-3.

  7. Post update

Toulon are back up to 15 men for the final five minutes and despite having the man advantage Scarlets have not been able to make it pay.

  8. Post update

Scarlets threaten a late try that might have made the last seven minutes very interesting, but again Toulon isolate the ball carrier to earn a turnover.

  9. Peltier signs for Cardiff City

    Lee Peltier

Cardiff City confirm the signing of Huddersfield defender Lee Pelitier on a three-and-a-half year contract.

  10. Post update

    REPLACEMENTS

Josh Lewis gets the last 11 minutes for Scarlets in place of wing Harry Robinson, while Regan King's night is also over.

Bastareaud dawdles off for Toulon, which should give the home midfield a little relief in the closing stages.

  11. Post update

There's a small break in play so that Habana can get some attention, the wing's nose is looking a bit bloodied but a bit of tissue paper seems to do the trick.

  12. Post update

    REPLACEMENTS

There's been a few more replacements as well as the coaches play some of their last cards.

Mamuka Gorgodze is on for Toulon, while Scarlets send for Rory Pitman in place of Aaron Shingler, Rob Evans for Wyn Jones - reversing their earlier blood bin change - and Rhodri Williams takes over at scrum-half for Aled Davies.

  13. Post update

    SIN-BIN

Toulon lock Jocelino Suta earns a yellow card on 65 mins for pulling down at the line-out.

  14. Not all doom and gloom for Welsh football

Let's not forget that Merthyr Town had a great day today, with a brace from Kayne Mclaggon ensuring a 2-1 victory.

Mick from Ferndale: We are top of the league! Steve Jenkins is the reason, excellent manager. Cardiff could do with him!

Mike in Edwardsville: We took 200 to Clevedon last week. All roads lead to Evesham now...

Mark in Penarth: Up the town! Another three points today towards promotion, Merthyr Town have surely got to do it this season!

Mick, Mike and Mark all support Merthyr. Apparently they're fans of alliteration there in mid-Glamorgan.

  15. Post update

    REPLACEMENTS!

It's like migration time on the Serengeti as the Toulon bench almost empties.

Jean-Charles Orioli, Jean-Charles Oriol, Martin Castrogiovanni, Bakkies Botha and Juan Fernandez Lobbe come on for the star-studded French side.

Scarlets send on Kristian Phillips for Scott Williams and Wyn Jones for Rob Evans. It seems like Wayne Pivac is starting to look ahead to next week now.

  16. Post update

Steffon Armitage is making a real nuisance of himself at the breakdown and Scarlets are penalised for holding on as the back-row 'jackals' the ball.

The flanker has been in great form for Toulon but didn't make England's Six Nations squad. Probably not a bad thing for Wales with England coming to Cardiff for the opening game on 6 February - live on the BBC of course!

  17. Hell for an Angel

Swansea defender Angel Rangel on twitter: Very disappointing result today. Time to fully focus on the Premier League & keep top 10 spot till the end. Exciting challenge #believe

    Angel Rangel
  18. Not-so-friendly encounter

    Handbags

Scarlets number eight Rob McCusker and Toulon lock Jocelino Suta settle a minor disagreement at Parc y Scarlets.

  19. Post update

    Scarlets 3-26 Toulon

    TRY - HABANA

Toulon launch an attack off a wheeled scrum, Juanne Smith pops the ball up to find fellow Springbok Bryan Habana and the wing cuts back to score. Halfpenny converts. 52 mins

  20. Post update

    Scarlets 3-19 Toulon

    Phil Bennett

    Former Wales and Lions captain

He is human after all, Leigh Halfpenny.

He's just pulled that kick wide of the post, but I think he's the best kicker in European rugby at the moment, possibly world rugby.

But they want to stuff Scarlets now and put them out of the game, they're not concerned with kicks from pens.

  21. Post update

Let-off for Scarlets as they are pinged for off-side. The penalty is on the halfway line but in front of the posts, an area we're used to seeing Halfpenny slot them over but the Wales full-back misses for once.

Priestland is limping a bit though, a concern for Scarlets who really need their fly-half general on the field for the remaining half-hour.

  22. Join the debate at #BBCSportWales

Let's not forget there has also been a full schedule of Welsh rugby today, with a few of you letting us know your feelings about Ospreys' 23-20 defeat to Treviso today:

Gareth in Swansea: What a truly great day for Swansea (not!). Very poor.

Ashley in Newport: Welsh regions are just not good enough. Losing too often against so-called 'lesser sides'.

Gareth in South Wales: Scrum cost us again!

Tweet us at #BBCSportWales if you want to join the conversation, remember there's still one game going on this Super Saturday - Scarlets are losing 3-19 to Toulon at half-time.

  23. Welcome home Leigh!

    Steven Shingler tackles Leigh Halfpenny

Toulon full-back Leigh Halfpenny was gets a hot reception from Scarlets centre Steven Shingler on his return to Wales. Well, he is from the "other" side of the Loughor estuary.

  24. Post update

That's more like it as Priestland releases his backs and Scarlets make 50m down the left wing. Good hands and straight running - lovely stuff.

  25. Post update

We're back and running at Parc y Scarlets, let's see if the home side can cause Toulon a few more problems in the second half.

  26. Post update

Quick sums done on the draw for the next round of the Champions Cup and if it stays like this Toulon will have home advantage - and will host Dai Young's Wasps in the quarter-finals.

The Russell Slade 'debate' continues, especially with his 'walking out' comments [see 18:12]...

Rhys in Pontypridd: Russell Slade's long ball tactics are killing the club, with the players not getting the chance to play the ball around on the floor!

Sion in Penarth: If Russell Slade was a good manager he would be able to motivate any player, regardless if he signed them or not. The whole point of management is to be good at managing! Out of his depth, club's still a mess.

Mike in Cardiff: Russell Slade has to go, he is clearly outside of his comfort zone and has no imagination other than route one football. Relegation beckons.

Rhys in Cardiff: It would be better if he walked out of the stadium and never came back...

We're still looking for someone who thinks Slade should keep his job at Cardiff City. Tweet #BBCSportWales or text us on 81012.

    HALF-TIME Scarlets 3-19 Toulon

Leigh Halfpenny has kicked 11 points in the first half for Toulon against Scarlets
Image caption: Leigh Halfpenny has kicked 11 points in the first half for Toulon against Scarlets

Scarlets end the half with their best scrum of the match, holding Toulon's eight and then swarming over their backs in defence. A quick scuffle breaks out but the half-time whistle goes almost immediately - promise of tea and snacks sees the big men separate.

  29. Cardiff City manager Russell Slade

It's the most disappointing 45 minutes since I've been here. I'd have probably walked out myself if I'd been in the crowd in the 2nd half.

  30. Post update

Great defence from Scarlets as they drive Toulon back from their line after Bastareaud made the initial charge, but Toulon still win a scrum in the Welsh 22.

Looks like the repair job on Tillous-Borde didn't hold and he's again left the field. Back comes human yo-yo Escande.

  31. Bad day for Welsh clubs - good day for a Welsh footballer?

    Aaron Ramsey

Arsenal midfielder and Wales international Aaron Ramsey: Training in the sun... looking forward to the #FACup tomorrow. Great memories last year, let's do the same this year!

Considering that both Manchester City and Chelsea have been knocked out of the FA Cup by lower-tier opposition, Ramsey will want to make sure he has his shooting boots on tomorrow.

  32. Post update

    Scarlets 3-19 Toulon

    PENALTY - HALFPENNY

Toulon's pack seems to have their opposite numbers on toast at the moment and with Halfpenny's kicking, each collapsed scrum is almost a free three points. 34 mins

  33. Post update

    Scarlets 3-16 Toulon

    PENALTY - SHINGLER

That's better. Scarlets get themselves on the scoreboard with a penalty from Steve Shingler, who steps up to slot the ball rather than Priestland with 30 mins gone.

  34. Post update

    REPLACEMENT

Escande is back on the pitch after a bit of work in the blood bin. Tillous-Borde mopes off to the bench until he's called upon again.

  35. Post update

    Phil Bennett

    Former Wales and Lions captain

There's a few Scarlets players on their knees when there's a break in play, already feeling the pace of this game.

  36. Post update

A great kick into the corner by Priestland gives Scarlets hope with an attacking line-out. This time the catch is good but the drive disintegrates and the home side are penalised for holding on.

  37. Post update

    Scarlets 0-16 Toulon

    DROP-GOAL

Toulon are intent on taking any chance to score and Nicolas Sanchez drops a goal to rub in their superiority.

Scrum-half Sebastien Tillous-Borde has left the field injured for the visitors, to be replaced by Eric Escande.

  38. Post update

    Scarlets 0-13 Toulon

    PENALTY FOR HALFPENNY

Leigh Halfpenny slots an easy kick from in front of the posts, the French now lead 13-0 after 20 mins.

  39. Post update

    Bye-bye Kim Bo

Cardiff City confirm that South Korea midfielder Kim Bo Kyung has left the club "by mutual consent".

  40. Join the debate and text us on 81012

The conversation has inevitably turned to Russell Slade after Cardiff's 2-1 defeat to Reading in the FA Cup...

Martyn from mid-Glamorgan: Slade must go, he is just not up to it. Irrelevant about what he has inherited.

Huw from Cardiff: Slade is an idiot and he's taking us down.

Jeff from Merthyr: We've got a League One manager, who signs players from League One, guess where we're heading! Slades not the man!!

Barry from Pontypridd: Vincent Tan went for the low budget option with Slade and this is the result. Playing Kenwyne & Revell upfront today shows us just what to expect for rest of season. Brayford pushing for a move to a lower division club proves what a mess we're in!

So there is little support for Slade from the Cardiff faithful. Does anyone out there think the manager should keep his job? Text us on 81012, and tweet us at #BBCSportWales

  41. Post update

    Cardiff keeper crocked

Cardiff goalkeeper David Marshall has had a minor operation on an ankle injury and manager Russell Slade says he should be back in "two or three weeks".

  42. Post update

Scarlets make it into Toulon territory but the line-out is stolen by the French. Not the greatest throw by Ryan Elias but he is the fourth or fifth choice Scarlets hooker after a glut of injuries.

  43. Post update

    Phil Bennett

    Former Wales and Lions captain

There's no Liam Williams at full-back but the Scarlets have to move the ball when they've got it.

  44. Scarlets 0-10 Toulon

  48. Slade under fire

    Russell Slade

"There was a lack of direction and a a lack of a system," he said.

Mathieu Bastareaud goes over for Toulon after a fine break by Sebastien Tillous-Borde

  50. Post update

We're off at Parc Y Scarlets as Rhys Priestland's hanging kick-off is fielded in the Toulon 22.

  51. Post update

Phew, what a day. Seven games down and one more to go as Scarlets host defending champions Toulon in the European Champions Cup at 17:30 GMT.

Scarlets are out of the running for the knock-out stage and Wales full-back and wing Liam Williams, plus locks Snyman and Jake Ball are unavailable through injury for Scarlets.

Wales full-back Leigh Halfpenny turns out in the Toulon 15 shirt this afternoon.

Scarlets: Steven Shingler; Harry Robinson, Regan King, Scott Williams (capt), Hadleigh Parkes; Rhys Priestland, Aled Davies; Rob Evans, Ryan Elias, Peter Edwards, George Earle, Lewis Rawlins, Aaron Shingler, John Barclay, Rob McCusker.

Replacements: Darran Harris, Wyn Jones, Jacobie Adriaanse, Sion Bennett, Rory Pitman, Rhodri Williams, Josh Lewis, Kristian Phillips.

Toulon: Leigh Halfpenny; Drew Mitchell, Mathieu Bastareaud, Maxime Mermoz, Bryan Habana; Nicolas Sanchez, Sebastien Tillous-Borde; Xavier Chiocci, Guilhem Guirado, Carl Hayman (capt), Romain Taofifenua, Jocelino Suta, Juanne Smith, Steffon Armitage, Matemini Masoe.

Replacements: Jean-Charles Orioli, Alexandre Menini, Martin Castrogiovanni, Mamuka Gorgodze, Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe, Rudolffe Wulf, Eric Escande, Bakkies Botha.

  52. Post update

    Ian Walsh

BBC Radio Wales pundit and former Wales striker

I sat here for 90 minutes and I'm wondering where Cardiff City are going.

There was a lack of direction, a lack of a system, no creativity in midfield, no leaders out there and no team ethic.

There's no doubt about this, Reading thoroughly deserved to win that game.

  53. FULL-TIME

    Cordoba 1-2 Real Madrid

Wales forward Gareth Bale was the saviour for 10-man Real Madrid, as his late penalty gave them a 2-1 win at Cordoba.

After a Ghilas penalty put Cordoba in front, Karim Benzema equalised for Real before Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off for hitting Cordoba's Edimar.

It was then left to Bale to save Real's blushes with a penalty in the 89th minute.

  54. Text us on 81012

Tony from Hengoed: Relegation for these no-hopers, they're an absolute disgrace. Tan should sack Slade, don't waste any more money on this load of rubbish. Dump the lot of them.

Phill from Cardiff: What was Slade's half-time tactics - 7-2-1 and defend a 1-0 lead? Slade must have had a yellow sticker for Tan to buy him as a manager.

Pete from Splott: Russell Slade says he is not shopping at Harrods... those playing for Cardiff looked as if they came in a job lot from Poundland!

Russell Slade was always going to get a bit of stick for that 'Harrods' line. Get involved with #BBCSportWales, or text us on 81012.

  55. FULL-TIME

    Treviso 23-20 Ospreys

It's a disappointing end to a disappointing Champions Cup campaign for Ospreys.

Treviso snatched victory with a penalty try in the final play of the game, and the Welsh region are left to reflect on another season of frustration in Europe.

  56. TRY (Penalty try)

    Treviso 23-20 Ospreys

The Ospreys' forwards have been under immense pressure in the closing stages, and they eventually buckle as Treviso's scrum forces a penalty try.

  57. CLOSE!

    Treviso 16-20 Ospreys

Treviso are piling on the pressure late on and, as the match enters its final minute, the Italians are held up just inches short of the Ospreys' try line.

Can the visitors repel this final onslaught? They have a Treviso scrum and 60 seconds to see out.

  58. Get involved: #BBCSportWales

Cardiff City are not impressing you lot on social media...

Andy Carter: Nathan Blake said on last night's Radio Wales Sport that Hal Robson-Kanu had never scored on a Saturday... famous last words?

    Dave Briscoe: Slade OUT!!!

Philip Spillane: We should play in red.

Surely things are not that bad, Philip?

  59. FULL-TIME

    Cardiff 1-2 Reading

    Reading celebrate

A third successive defeat for Cardiff in all competitions after a dismal second-half display.

Full-back Fabio has to be dragged away from the Reading players after a fracas at the final whistle, but there wasn't much fire in the belly from Cardiff today.

Manager Russell Slade might say they can now concentrate on the league but, with the Premier League's top two Chelsea and Manchester City knocked out today, this could be the year of the underdog in the FA Cup.

With Swansea losing 3-1 at Blackburn earlier this afternoon, that's the end of the Welsh clubs' involvement in the FA Cup this season.

  60. Dragons 30-19 Stade Francais

    BBC Radio Wales' Phil Steele:

"It's the first time Stade Francais have lost to the same team twice in a European pool in their history."

  61. TRY (Richard Fussell)

    Treviso 16-20 Ospreys

A sharp finish from full-back Richard Fussell, who stretches over to give Ospreys the lead with 10 minutes left.

    Sam Davies misses his conversion.

  62. FULL-TIME

    Northampton 3-0 Newport County

A second successive defeat for Newport, who have conceded seven goals in those two losses.

They're still in the League Two play-off places, but manager Justin Edinburgh will be looking for an improvement after two disappointing displays.

  63. FULL-TIME

    Wrexham 1-1 Gateshead

It's all over at the Racecourse, and Wrexham face another replay in the FA Trophy.

Their third-round replay against Gateshead will be played on Wednesday.

  64. Post update

    Cardiff 1-2 Reading

    Ian Walsh

BBC Radio Wales pundit and former Wales striker

No more than they deserve, really.

They've been the better team throughout the 90 minutes. All of a sudden there's a ball whipped in at the near post and Hal Robson-Kanu times it perfectly.

He gets the ball on the half-volley and whacks it in the same direction, high into the roof of the net.

  65. FULL-TIME

Newport Gwent Dragons 30-19 Stade Francais

Geraint Rhys Jones lands a 79th minute penalty as the Dragons get claim four points and a home draw in the quarter finals.

  66. GOAL (Hal Robson-Kanu)

    Cardiff 1-2 Reading

Wales forward Hal Robson-Kanu comes off the bench to head Reading in front with what looks like a late winner.

No replay, then, but not as Cardiff manager Russell Slade would have liked.

The last time Robson-Kanu scored at Cardiff City Stadium, he put Wales 2-0 up against Cyprus. It's safe to say this goal has been less popular among the home fans.

  67. Latest scores

    Cardiff 1-1 Reading

You get the feeling this game is rather petering out into a tame draw - not that either side particularly want a replay.

There's drama elsewhere in the FA Cup, though. Championship side Middlesbrough are 1-0 up at Premier League champions Manchester City, while current top-flight leaders Chelsea are losing 3-2 at home to League One team Bradford. Blimey.

  68. Post update

    Dragons 27-19 Stade Francais

    Nathan Brew

    Former Dragons centre

The Dragons are just appearing to be a bit nervy, they are a bit all over the place along this near side

They only need a bonus point today to guarantee the home draw in the quarter-finals, but they would love a win.

With the position Dragons were in at half time (22-7), they won't want to lose it from here.

  69. GOAL (Lawson D'Ath)

    Northampton 3-0 Newport County

Northampton's Lawson D'Ath appears to put the final nail in Newport's coffin as he fires into the bottom corner.

  70. Missed chance

    Cardiff 1-1 Reading

Craig Noone leads a counter-attack for Cardiff, but the winger miscues his low, left-footed shot and it dribbles harmlessly wide.

Today's attendance at Cardiff City Stadium, by the way, is 11,750.

  71. TRY!

Newport Gwent Dragons 27-19 Stade Francais

A fourth try from a driving line out. Remi Bonfils goes over for the French side. Game on?

  72. Latest scores

    Northampton 8-25 Racing Metro

Elsewhere in the Ospreys' pool, there's a surprising result on the cards as Northampton are losing at home to Racing Metro.

On the bright side for Saints - and Wales - George North has just scored a try to give the hosts hope at Franklin's Gardens.

  73. Post update

    Wrexham 1-1 Gateshead

    Jason Perry

    Former Wales defender

The second half has been a lot better for me.

Wrexham have been getting the better over the Gateshead players, and they've come close.

You have to think neither side wants a replay here, the schedule is so hectic that they will want to get it done today.

Hopefully Wrexham can get the goal.

  74. Worry for Wales?

    Tyler Morgan holds his leg.

Dragons centre Tyler Morgan, who is in Wales' squad for the 2015 Six Nations, was taken off after injuring his leg for the Dragons against Stade Francais at Rodney Parade.

Wales play England in Cardiff on Friday, 6 February.

  75. Latest scores

    Treviso 16-15 Ospreys

Ospreys have been pounding Treviso's try line for the last few minutes, but the Italians are standing firm.

In the end, the visitors have to settle for three points as Sam Davies' penalty reduces their deficit to one point.

  76. Post update

    Cardiff 1-1 Reading

    Ian Walsh

BBC Radio Wales pundit and former Wales striker

It mirrors the first half, where Reading had all the possession. You do wonder where the Cardiff City players are, not getting on the ball at all.

The referee's given a yellow card there to Craig Noone, but it could have been the type of challenge to warrant a red card - it's that dangerous.

    Noone's got away with it.

  77. YELLOW CARD (Craig Noone)

    Cardiff 1-1 Reading

It's a bad couple of minutes for Cardiff. Moments after Oliver Norwood draws Reading level, Bluebirds winger Craig Noone is booked for a reckless challenge on Jordan Obita.

  78. GOAL (Oliver Norwood)

    Cardiff 1-1 Reading

Oliver Norwood wrong-foots Cardiff goalkeeper Simon Moore with a low, curling free-kick which nestles in the bottom corner.

If Cardiff City Stadium was subdued before that goal, it is almost silent now. The only noise is from Reading's jubilant travelling fans.

  79. TRY!

Newport Gwent Dragons 27-12 Stade Francais

Rhys Thomas crashes over for the Welsh side but Tom Prydie misses the conversion. Surely that seals it for Dragons?

  80. Post update

    Cardiff 1-0 Reading

    Kenwyne Jones

That Kenwyne Jones goal record makes for good reading for Cardiff fans...

  81. We're under way...

    Treviso 16-12 Ospreys

The second half has kicked off at Treviso as well, with Ospreys aiming to overhaul a four-point deficit from the first half.

Steve Tandy's men are already out of the Champions Cup, but they'll be desperate to end their campaign on a high after their defeat to Northampton last weekend.

  82. We're under way...

    Cardiff 1-0 Reading

The second half is under way at Cardiff City Stadium, with Cardiff aiming to secure their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

  83. Nervy Dragons?

Newport Gwent Dragons 22-14 Stade Francais

The quality of the Stade line-up suggests they should be closer to the Dragons than they are. Is this the start of a comeback?

  84. Post update

    Treviso 16-12 Ospreys

    Dafydd James

    Former Wales and Lions wing

Terrible decision-making from the Ospreys and Martin Roberts.

We worried about complacency as the clock struck 40 minutes, and Treviso give Ospreys a big psychological blow just before half time.

If Gruff Rees was shaking his head before, he will be shaking it now.

That was calamitous from the Ospreys - needlessly giving Treviso the lead.

  85. TRY!

Newport Gwent Dragons 22-14 Stade Francais

Stade hooker Zurabi Zhvania crashes over from a driving line out for the French side, but Morne Steyn misses the conversion.

  86. HALF-TIME

    Treviso 16-12 Ospreys

Treviso's second try is an excellent move, backs and forwards running in tandem and offloading to devastating effect.

Flanker Barbini is the man to finish the move and, despite the missed conversion, Treviso lead 16-12.

That's the last play of the first half. Ospreys have a battle on their hands.

  87. Post update

    Cardiff 1-0 Reading

    Ian Walsh

BBC Radio Wales pundit and former Wales striker

I haven't seen a Reading side as inept as this for a long, long time.

The only quality we've seen is from Kenwyne Jones, and you would have to say it was a wonderful header.

He has had a great game.

  88. Join the debate at #BBCSportWales

With John Brayford's sale to Sheffield United confirmed, we are asking what you think about the former Cardiff full-back...

Tim Bushell: Think it's brilliant business getting back what we paid for him, he's been massively disappointing.

    Treviso 8-12 Ospreys

    Dafydd James

    Former Wales and Lions wing

When the Scarlets played against the Ospreys they caused a lot of problems, with Samson Lee causing problems.

The referee is trying to settle both packs down now, let's hope we can get into a bit more of a free-flowing game.

We've only seen a few glimpses of attractive rugby, with both sides trying to find their feet.

  90. TRY (Eli Walker)

    Treviso 8-12 Ospreys

Ospreys wing Eli Walker touches down in the corner after a fine break by fly-half Sam Davies, who misses his conversion.

There was some doubt over the try - the referee and TMO were locked in a long discussion as it seemed Ospreys were guilty of blocking - but it has been given and Ospreys are back in front.

  91. HALF-TIME

    Cardiff 1-0 Reading

Cardiff City celebrate Kenwyne Jones' goal

An uninspiring half at Cardiff City Stadium, where Kenwyne Jones' header is the difference between the sides.

Cardiff have not created much in the way of clear scoring opportunities but, with the towering Jones and Alex Revell up front, they certainly possess a physical attacking threat.

There's not much of a crowd to cheer on the Bluebirds, but those hardy souls who have made the trip to Cardiff City Stadium will at least be content to see their team leading after seeing them lose their last two games.

  92. HALF-TIME

    Northampton 2-0 Newport County

Justin Edinburgh's men have it all to do at Sixfields after goals from Ryan Cresswell and John-Joe O'Toole

  93. HALF-TIME

    Wrexham 1-1 Gateshead

It's all square in the third round of the FA Trophy, with Andy Bishop drawing Wrexham level after Adam Campbell had given Gateshead the lead.

  94. TRY (Angelo Esposito)

    Treviso 8-7 Ospreys

A nicely worked try from the hosts, as Angelo Esposito goes over in the corner to put Treviso in front.

  95. HALF-TIME

    Dragons 22-7 Stade Francais

Dragons on the attack against Stade Francais

Tom Prydie has struck his fourth and fifth penalties for the Welsh side as they hold a comfortable half-time lead.

  96. FULL-TIME

    Grenoble 3-28 Cardiff Blues

It's an impressive bonus-point win for Cardiff Blues away against Grenoble.

The Welsh side finish second behind London Irish in European Challenge Cup Pool One.

That means the Blues will be away in the quarter-finals.

  97. Post update

    Ian Walsh

BBC Radio Wales pundit and former Wales striker

I think since the goal Cardiff have settled down.

I want to see more from the four midfield players, especially Gunnarsson who has slipped out of the game.

I like Whittingham who has been technically sound, but you still want to see more from your midfield.

  98. TRY (Josh Navidi)

    Grenoble 3-28 Cardiff Blues

Cardiff Blues have the bonus point in the bag as back-rower Josh Navidi crosses for their fourth try.

Replacement Gareth Davies converts to extend the Blues' lead, but London Irish's bonus point against Rovigo means the Welsh side cannot top their group in order to secure a home quarter-final in the Challenge Cup.

Kenwyne Jones' goal has certainly got you lot talking.

Rhys Gale: Kenwyne Jones with another goal, needs to be starting more #scoringforfun #bluebirds

Daniel Storey: Kenwyne Jones, Darren Bent and Marouane Chamakh. The FA Cup's partying like it's 2009.

Antonio Alves: Kenwyne Jones is everything that Bafetimbi Gomis wishes he was.

  100. TRY (Krisnan Inu)

    Dragons 16-7 Stade Francais

Stade Francais have hit back at Rodney Parade, with centre Krisnan Inu going over for the French side and South Africa fly-half Morne Steyn adding the conversion.

  101. GOAL (Andy Bishop)

    Wrexham 1-1 Gateshead

Nine minutes after falling behind to Adam Campbell's goal for Gateshead, Wrexham have equalised with Andy Bishop scoring from close range.

  102. GOAL (John-Joe O'Toole)

    Northampton 2-0 Newport County

More bad news for Newport in League Two, as John-Joe O'Toole's header doubles Northampton's lead.

  103. TRY (Penalty try)

    Grenoble 3-21 Cardiff Blues

It's a third try of the afternoon for the Blues, and it's a second penalty try as their scrum wreaks havoc in France.

Gareth Anscombe converts and victory seems secure for Mark Hammett's men.

  104. PENALTY (Tom Prydie)

    Dragons 16-0 Stade Francais

Tom Prydie makes it four kicks out of four, slotting over his third penalty for the Welsh side.

The Dragons look well placed to secure a home last eight tie in the European Challenge Cup early on.

  105. Post update

    Ian Walsh

BBC Radio Wales pundit and former Wales striker

    Fantastic header.

Kenwyne Jones sneaks into the near post and hits a bullet header into the roof of the net.

Fantastic delivery from Whittingham, as you'd expect.

  106. GOAL (Kenwyne Jones)

    Cardiff 1-0 Reading

Kenwyne Jones heads the opener for Cardiff City

After a scrappy start, Kenwyne Jones puts Cardiff in front with a thunderous header from Peter Whittingham's corner.

Cardiff City Stadium was a little sleepy up until that point, with the empty seats and untidy play making for a subdued atmosphere.

As has often been the case this season, Cardiff's breakthrough comes from a set-piece. Whittingham's outswinging corner was perfect for Jones, whose firm header flew into the top corner.

  107. TRY (James King)

    Treviso 0-7 Ospreys

Ospreys exert pressure and go through the phases before Wales international James King, playing at lock today, gallops over in the corner.

After a quick check with the television match official, the try is awarded - King's first of the season.

Sam Davies converts with his first points in European competition, and it's a fine start for Ospreys in Italy.

  108. PENALTY (Tom Prydie)

    Dragons 13-0 Stade Francais

Tom Prydie slots over another penalty to extend the Welsh side's lead.

If results stay the same the Dragons could guarantee themselves a home tie in the European Challenge Cup last eight.

  109. GOAL (Ryan Cresswell)

    Northampton 1-0 Newport County

In League Two, Ryan Cresswell puts Northampton in front against Newport County, who are looking to bounce back from last week's 4-0 hammering at Cambridge.

  110. TRY (Penalty try)

    Grenoble 3-14 Cardiff Blues

Cardiff Blues get their second try of the match in France, as they scrum forces a penalty try. Gareth Anscombe converts.

    Gareth Anscombe

That's Anscombe's second conversion of the day.

  111. Elsewhere in the Champions Cup...

It's been a dramatic afternoon in the matches not involving Welsh teams in the European Champions Cup.

Leinster have become the second side to qualify for the quarter-finals after a dramatic 20-20 draw with Wasps at the Ricoh Arena.

Former England fly-half Andy Goode had a chance to win the game for Wasps with the last play of the match, but pushed his drop-goal wide.

It means Leinster top pool 2 on 20 points, while Wasps on 18 points still have a good chance of qualifying as one of the best runners-up but must await other results.

In the other match in the pool, Harlequins won 47-19 at Castres but, despite finishing level with Wasps on 18 points, Wasps have the edge because of better results in the head-to-head between the two teams.

  112. TRY (Elliot Dee)

    Dragons 10 Stade Francais 0

A brilliant start for the Dragons as hooker Elliot Dee goes over after a driving maul.

Tom Prydie converts to add to his earlier penalty.

  113. KICK-OFF

    Dragons v Stade Francais

Like the Cardiff Blues, the Newport Gwent Dragons are already assured of their place in the European Challenge Cup quarter-finals.

The difference is the Dragons have an unassailable lead at the top of Pool 3 after their spectacular 40-29 win against Newcastle last weekend.

Dragons beat Stade 38-22 in their first meeting, and a repeat of that could see them proceed as the top seeds in the tournament.

Dragons: Geraint Rhys Jones; Tom Prydie, Tyler Morgan, Jack Dixon, Hallam Amos; Dorian Jones, Jonathan Evans; Phil Price, Elliot Dee, Brok Harris, James Thomas, Rynard Landman (capt), Lewis Evans, Nic Cudd, Taulupe Faletau. Replacements: T Rhys Thomas, Lloyd Fairbrother, Dan Way, Cory Hill, Ian Gough, Luc Jones, Angus O'Brien, Ashton Hewitt.

Stade Francais: Paul Williams; Titouan Cazedepats , Geoffrey Doumayrou (capt), Krisnan Inu ,Digby Ioane; Morné Steyn, Julien Dupuy ; Romain Frou, Zurabi Zhvania, Davit Kubriashvili, Paul Gabrillagues , Juan Cruz Guillemain, Matthieu Ugena, Mathieu De Giovanni , Nicolas Garrault. Replacements: Sofiane Chellat , Zak Taulafo, Adrien Oleon, Julien Nibert, Remi Bonfils Luc Jones, Julien Tomas, Vincent Mallet, Raphael Lakafia.

  114. KICK-OFF

We're about to get under way at the various matches kicking off at 3pm.

Cardiff City host Reading in the FA Cup fourth round, Newport County are away at Northampton in League Two while Wrexham are at home to Gateshead in the third round of the FA Trophy.

Where rugby's concerned, the Newport Gwent Dragons are aiming to secure a home quarter-final in the European Challenge Cup as they welcome Stade Francais to Rodney Parade.

Then at 3.15 Ospreys are away against Treviso in the European Champions Cup, though pride is all they have to play for in that match.

    Swansea manager Garry Monk

Disappointed to lose of course. You're always up against it when you're down to 10 men so early.

Our plan was to try and get to the last 10 minutes of the game and then try and push.

But to concede the second goal like we did, that's what disappoints me the most.

I thought the [Sigurdsson red card] was very harsh... but we're going to have to accept it.

  126. RED CARD

Blackburn 3-1 Swansea (Gylfi Sigurdsson - 91 mins)

    Gylfi

Gylfi Sigurdsson sees red for a heavy challenge on Chris Taylor. The Swans down to nine men. It is the former Tottenham midfielder's first red card of his career.

  129. GOAL

Blackburn 3-1 Swansea (Craig Conway - 89 mins)

    Craig Conway

Another former Cardiff City player Craig Conway scores against Swansea. The winger smashed a powerful shot from the edge of the area but Lukasz Fabianski failed to keep it out despite getting a hand to it.

  130. Shot saved

    Rudy Gestede

Former Cardiff City striker Rudy Gestede stabs the ball high into the net from six yards out to put the Championship side ahead. Swansea are in real danger now of becoming the victim of a FA Cup upset.

  139. Poor pass

    Blackburn 1-1 Swansea

Swansea City striker Bafetimbi Gomis over-hits a pass to Jonjo Shelvey which would surely have given the former Liverpool midfielder a chance to run in on goal. Shelvey had no Blackburn defenders with him but Gomis failed to find him.

  140. Safe pair of hands

Edinburgh's win over Bordeaux last night means the Cardiff Blues have already qualified for the European Challenge Cup quarter-finals - but director of rugby Mark Hammett has still chosen a strong side.

The Blues are bolstered by the return of three Wales internationals, Sam Warburton, Gethin Jenkins and Alex Cuthbert.

  153. Shot blocked

    Blackburn 1-1 Swansea

Replacements: Matthew Rees, Sam Hobbs, Adam Jones, Macauley Cook, Ellis Jenkins, Tavis Knoyle, Gareth Davies, Gavin Evans.

  163. HALF-TIME

    Blackburn 1-1 Swansea

An action-packed first half. Swansea have not sat back and defended after going down to 10 men early on, but will be disappointed to have conceded the equaliser so soon after taking the lead. Blackburn have looked dangerous going forward and the pace of Joshua King has caused the Swansea defence problems.

  164. Gomis chance

    Blackburn 1-1 Swansea

Bafetimbi Gomis swings at the ball wildly from the penalty spot and fails to connect properly with Dwight Tiendalli's cross. A great chance for the Swans, but there was a lot of pace on the pass to be fair to the French striker.

    Kevin Ratcliffe

Former Wales captain & BBC Wales pundit

I did say the warning signs were there just before. Josh King has a lot of pace.

Bartley seemed to be ambling. I don't know how much contact there was, but if the referee thinks it's a foul then he's got no option but to send the lad off.

    Swansea manager Garry Monk

Swansea boss Garry Monk on striker Bafetimbi Gomis: "He trains very well, his attitude is good and on top of that he is a good footballer and we need as many of those as possible in the team."

On today's game: "I think obviously being as Premier League team you have that tag as favourites but we have been the underdog for many years in cup competitions and we still have that mentality.

"Any time you suffer any defeat is bad but especially in the manner we did, it was very unlike us. The players have been itching to get back on track and this is our opportunity."
