Yep, I did ask for a pic of someone snowboarding in the front room.

Anyway. That last run of the men's final is scheduled for four minutes past the hour.

    Men's slopestyle final

Max Parrot of Canada is last to go. Ah, no. he's done it again. A fall in pretty much exactly the same place as his first run. Dumped on the back of his head.

It means his compatriot Mark McMorris will lead going into the final run.

When we talk of Mark McMorris, I can't help but think of the lead singer of the Bluetones.

Anyway, there's no response from Marcus Kleveland, who stays in fourth.

    Snowboarding commentator on BBC TV

Mark McMorris has upped his game, he's gone in and upped that second jump from his first run.

It's not perfect by any stretch, definitely jumps two and three need cleaning up - so room for improvement!

    Men's slopestyle final

Mark McMorris is into gold medal position. 85.20 puts him more than four points clear of Sandbech.

    That will take some beating.

Remember, the Canadian suffered a life-threatening crash only last year. It would be some story if he wins this thing.

    Front triple, well held.

    Hello, this might be big.

    Huge cheers.

    New leader?

No improvement for Garcia Knight. He stays in second place.

It's getting windy for the final three.

    Here comes Mark McMorris....

The Kiwi looks relaxed, vaulting the obstacles with a little flair. First jump, little hand on the ground. Front 10, short on the second jump. No great speed.

    Not the best...

I'm told that American Red Gerard first came to prominence at tge age of 11.

    11!

I was still playing Subbuteo then.

    Anyway, some tough landings.

    Carlos Garcia Knight is next....

    Into the lead!

The Norwegian racks up 81.01 to move ahead of Carlos Garcia Knight.

When he removes his helmet, he reveals that he's got headphones in his ears.

How does one become a snowboarding judge?

You imagine judges to be old, stuffy types. Possibly wearing a monocle. Tutting that things aren't as good as they were in their day.

Doesn't really fit with the image of snowboarding, does it?

Great Britain's Jamie Nicholls, on BBC One, on whether any of the competitors will bring out something new to climb the leaderboard: "It's a big move to try something you've not done in practice. You have to really practise those tricks beforehand so it's a big decision to change your tricks during the competition.

"It is a difficult course as well but it's enjoyable. It's the best course I've ever ridden before, there's so much creativity and choice in there, with some great rails."
