You know how I said that the picture of hallway curling would take some beating???
Mixed event: Norway 2-1 China
That's a blow for China. Despite having the hammer (the final stone) in the end, they have given a point away to Norway.
As it stands, the Chinese are going out.

Ah yes, recreations of winter sports really are what the cold version of the Games are all about. This curling effort will take some beating. Do those weights slide along your hallway floor?
I want to see a pic of someone cross-country skiing on the way home from the pub tonight.

Mixed event: Norway 1-1 China
Remember, China must win this to have any chance of reaching the semi-finals. Tight stuff so far, level deep into the third end. We're on the far right of the four rinks - there are four matches going on at once. Cameramen have to crouch between the sheets of ice in order to capture all the action. It's approaching 10am in the morning in Pyeongchang, but the arena is reasonably full.
Make no mistake, pets and the Winter Olympics just became a thing.

On the subject of the postponed men's downhill - if you're just joining us, it was called off today because of high winds - it will now take place on Thursday at 02:00 GMT.
As a result, the men's Super G has been pushed back until Friday at the same time.
I can accept that jumping in the wind is tricky, but surely the wind changes are just luck of the draw? You roll with the punches, right?
Do pro skiers really take a cable car to the top? Isn't that just what holidaymakers do in Aspen?

Many reasons why high wind problematic: very dangerous when jumping at high speed; wind changes means fair race ends up impossible. On a purely practical note, the cable car can’t take the skiers up!

Ah, now then. Earlier on I asked why it's difficult to ski in high winds...

Stuart Murphy: Sweeping the floor at home is tiresome enough, I can't imagine doing it on ice...
Seeing as you're up to speed, all that is left for me to do is to remind you how to get in touch.

Let me know where you're following from and how you are coping with sleep deprivation. Pictures welcome.
If you haven't got a jar of glue what's happening in a game of curling, watch this...
Basically, the idea is to get your stones as close to the centre of the target as possible.
There are eight ends in a mixed double match. The team with the most points at the conclusion, wins.
Now, though, we're all about the curling.
On BBC One (and at the top of this page), you can see Norway taking on China in the final group game of the mixed event.
The equation is simple - if China do not win, they go out. No score yet - we're only in the first end.
Then, later on...
However, that does not mean we'll be bored - far from it.
The mixed doubles curling round robin comes to a head this evening, with four teams battling for the remaining three spots in the semis.
There's team figure skating and, if you're hungry for a gold medal, an Olympic champion will be crowned in the men's slopestyle in a couple of hours from now.
And that's just tonight.
The men's downhill, the Big Daddy of Winter Olympic events (like the 100m in the summer Games, not the old wrestler), has been postponed because of high winds at the Jeongseon Alpine Centre.
It was supposed to deliver us a gold medal from around 02:00 GMT, but instead will take place later in the fortnight.
I'll be honest, I don't know how hard it is to ski in high wind, so if you can enlighten me, please do.
