09:09 GMT 12 February 2018Women's 10km (10:10 GMT, Men's 12.5km 12:00 GMT)
A good question.
Arguably biathlon’s most compelling event, it is also easier to follow than the individual or sprint, with the first competitor across the finish line the winner.
This event is open to the top 60 biathletes from the sprint. The sprint champion begins the race first, while everyone else starts at staggered intervals based on how many seconds they were behind in that event (the maximum handicap is four minutes)
It's like the Eliminator in Gladiators.
The first two shooting bouts are from prone, the final two from standing. For each missed target competitors must complete a 150m penalty loop (which typically takes around 25 seconds). Any ties will be broken by a photo finish.

Spam.
In Pyeongchang, it's everywhere. According to local restaurant owners it is even given to relatives as a gift!

Here's what you've missed
- The women's slopestyle final was heavily affected by wind and won by defending champion Jamie Anderson from the USA. Britain's Aimee Fuller was 17th.
- That same wind caused the women's giant slalom to be postponed.
- Canada took gold in the team figure skating with a discipline to spare.
- The Canadians also reached the final of the mixed curling, beating Norway. OAR and Switzerland meet in the second semi-final later today.

BBC Sport in PyeongchangIn the mountains events have generally been well attended and this is how you inspire a generation! These children, who were much better at English than I was at Korean, LOVED their time watching the women’s slopestyle and halfpipe competitions today!

'With winter sport there is always jeopardy'published at 08:38 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2018
08:38 GMT 12 February 2018Nick Hope
BBC Sport in PyeongchangAthletes will state if they find a situation unsafe and organisers do not want the headlines that would follow a weather influenced serious injury, but Would today’s women’s snowboard slopestyle final have been run if it was a World Cup? I doubt it - or it would at least have been halted midway through the final runs when the gusts kicked up again.
Some may say Pyeongchang isn’t a suitable host City because of the weather and it did miss out to Vancouver in 2010 and Sochi for 2014 who were both thought to have stronger bids.
However, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) were criticised when selecting Russia in 2014 - and also Beijing, China, for 2022 - because although they have less extremes in terms of climate, the environmental impact of attempting to recreate a ‘winter’ setting in warm conditions is huge.
With Winter sport there is always jeopardy, it’s just that we’re seeing more here in Pyeongchang than we have for over two decades in Winter sport.

End of twitter post'It definitely wasn't the safest contest'published at 08:31 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2018
08:31 GMT 12 February 2018Snowboarding: Women's slopestyle
BBC Radio 5 live
Aimee Fuller speaking to Radio 5 live: "It definitely wasn't the safest contest I've ridden in and it was certainly the most challenging. I think the level that was on display showed how unsafe it was. The girls were doing very basic, simple runs and we have progressed so much in the last four years.
"More than anything I'm disappointed. There was a rumour they were going to pull it on the first run. They didn't do that. I didn't hear any talk of them pulling the second run too and perhaps they should have done. The most important thing is that everybody came away in one piece.
"We are so lucky to have that second opportunity going into next week. The 'Big Air' (Fuller's next event) is a good opportunity for me to do well. I will put today behind me. I still felt like I was on top of my board and I did well but just couldn't handle the wind."
