Paul Williams: Two misses for Kuzmina! Dahlmeier cleared that with smart tactics on that last lap round.

Daniel Gosbee: Biathlon is one of the physically impressive sports. It’s incredible how these athletes can control their breathing and heart beat to shoot accurately after cross country skiing, which on its own is so tough.

It's a second gold medal for Laura Dahlmeier you'd think - unless she loses her cool at the range on the final visit.

She leads by 38.2 seconds. Skiing up hill looks absolutely punishing.

All that hard work Anastasiya Kuzmina produced to close the gap on Laura Dahlmeier has been undone by just a few millimetres. Not once, but twice. That's such a shame because she was doing so well! They were side-by-side.

    Men's Moguls Qualification 2 (10:30 GMT)

French teenager Perrine Laffont won the women's moguls on Sunday so who will win the men's equivalent which starts shortly?

We have 20 competitors taking part in Qualification 2, which gets underway shortly, with the top 10 advancing to the final, which takes place from 12:30 GMT to join the top 10 from Friday's Qualification 1.

Among those taking part in Qualification 2 is British-born Frenchman Ben Cavet.

In case you need reminding, moguls is the one where athletes ski down a slope packed with a host of mounds (moguls) and two jumps.

Each performance is scored from 0-100; the seven judges base 60% of the score on the technical quality of the turns and 20% on the two jumps, with the remaining 20% of the score dependent on an athlete’s finishing time according to a formula based on the course length.

It's such a brutal combination of tests. They have to lower their pulse. Anastasiya Kuzmina is looking really good!

There's plenty of time for a few other women to get in the mix depending on how these two get on.

Third-placed Veronika Vitkova could sneak into the lead with a clean round - but she misses one too.

That miss could prove costly for Marte Olsbu. Laura Dahlmeier swept all before her at the World Championships last year. A few people have been wondering if she's lost a little bit of that spark on the world circuit this year.

The drama continues to unfold because Anastasiya Kuzmina is moving brilliantly. Six of the leading seven shot clean on their first visit as I have it. Excellent shooting by these women.
