Jake Cusworth: The winter Olympics are my jam.

Kate C: My boy saw Martin Fourcade training when he was skiing in January. The guy was sprinting up a black run, without skis. He is a machine.

Tommy Pearson: What I love about Winter Olympics is that at end of every event, every competitor just looks relieved that they're not hideously injured.

Women's ski jump, first round, is beginning now. I have no voice at all so you will get CBC commentary on any BBC output (drat, drat, treble drat). Tweeting requires only fingers and a laptop, both of which I mercifully do still possess, so I'll be doing that instead.

35 athletes in round 1, 30 go through, final is later tonight local time. First out is Evelyn Insam (good Insta account, eveinsam). You probably need - I'm estimating here - around 60ish points to be happy that you're getting out of this first round.

Lee Fergusson: That was an incredible finish in the curling with the Swiss nicking it from the Russians.

TiedtotheBells: Omg, he went down HARD in the men’s moguls!

Alex Haworth: Martin Fourcade is actually one of greatest sportsman in the world, but gets hardly any recognition because he competes in biathlon.
