    Biathlon: Men's 12.5k pursuit

Any one of the top five can win this - maybe even further back. Into the range they come, they'll be standing this time. Bigger target.

    Biathlon: Men's 12.5k pursuit

Johannes Thingnes Boe is having a nightmare Games so far. He will definitely not get a medal in this event. He has another two events to come in the Olympics and he is a class act so we cannot write him off.

Look at that, Germany one, two and four. Tarjei Boe is doing his best to make sure there is at least one Norwegian in the podium.

    Men's 12.5km pursuit

Arnd Peiffer has a 9.2 second lead, team-mate Erik Lesser is now second.

Julian Eberhard, who had that one miss, drops to seventh. The top five have not missed a single target.

    Into the range once more.

Adjusting the sights because of the wind, Peiffer and Eberhard lie down. Eberhard misses one, Peiffer is clean again. He will open up a bit of a lead now.

Arnd Peiffer has shot clean! How about that? Germany are sat in second, third and fourth. Great work from the German's.

Tarjei Boe also shot clean and my word, he needed that. All of the top seven shot clean which is very good.

The top seven all shot clean - Arnd Peiffer is now narrowly second behind Julian Eberhard. Those two have a 12-second cushion on the rest.

Johannes Thingnes Bo of Norway was one of the favourites, but he starts in 31st place, a minute and 13 seconds back.

That will take some doing - but if he hits every single target you never know.

    Men's 12.5km pursuit (12:00 GMT)

All set for the men's biathlon pursuit.

Remember, winner of the sprint event, Arnd Peiffer, has a four-second lead at the start. Whoever finishes first, wins gold. Every time you miss a target you have to do a penalty 150m lap of the track.

    The shooting is absolutely pivotal.

    Luge: Women's singles run one

    John Jackson
Two-time Olympic bobsledder on BBC TV

That's the conclusion of run one in the women's luge. Germany's Natalie Geisenberger currently leads the pack with a time of 46.245 seconds - with compatriot Tatjana Huefner in third. The two Canadians Alex Gough and Kimberley Mcrae are sandwiched either side.

"The women have slightly less speed in the track so it makes it a little bit easier for them than the men but we are still seeing mistakes. It's that same corner which is causing most of the problems.

"All of the top sliders will be happy to have got one in the bag and show that they can run the track without making mistakes because we saw that with the men yesterday."
