    Skeleton: Men's final

Jerry Rice, speaking to BBC Two: "I'm over the moon for Dom and I'm so pleased with my result.

"We both just wanted to get to bed early last night - I'm a bit of snorer so Dom did his usual routine and got his earplugs in!"

Dom: "It's getting louder as the days go on..."

Jerry: "We were strangely relaxed to be honest, everyone has been very chilled out. I slept like a baby."

    Dom: "Yeah, I heard him!"

We've all seen the pictures of Tonga's Pita Taufatofua with his bare chest at both the Rio and Pyeongchang Olympic opening ceremonies.

Well, he made his Winter Games debut today after only taking up cross-country skiing last year and didn't finish last.

He was almost 23 minutes behind the winner but his main aim was to finish and he was greeted with wild cheers when he crossed the line in Alpensia.

  10. Who is Dom Parsons?published at 07:46 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February 2018

    Skeleton: Men's final

    Caroline Chapman
    BBC Sport in Pyeongchang

Dom Parsons is a self-confessed speed-geek and is nicknamed 'the wizard'.

Like many other sliders, Parsons started out as a 400m runner and switched to skeleton in 2008.

Parsons not only knows how to race on a sled but he makes them, too. He's been working on a PhD in mechanical engineering since 2013 at the University of Bath and has helped design the skeleton equipment.

Parsons is also a big Formula 1 fan and, if he wasn't a slider, he says being an F1 driver would be his dream job and his hero is Ayrton Senna.

The London-born athlete came into Pyeongchang having finished joint-fourth in St Mortiz - his favourite track - in the penultimate World Cup race of the campaign.

    Freestyle skiing

Bad news: two Swiss athletes have become the first competitors to be hit by a outbreak of the norovirus.

Freestyle skiers Fabian Boesch and Elias Ambuehl are the unlucky duo who have come down with the virus.

The IOC has said that the skiers were not staying in the athletes village with the rest of the team, but most of their symptoms had subsided, meaning they could potentially still compete.

    Get well soon!

Not only content with having the best racing gear of the Winter Olympics so far - he's set a high bar -Yun Sung-bin went on to claim skeleton gold this morning.

Oh, and he casually set a new track record in the process.

"I was a little worried about racing on the morning of the lunar new year," he added.

"It's a national holiday so I thought not many people would come to support. But so many people came to watch and I know many more watched on TV. That support really helped push me to win the gold medal."
